When will Crown season 5 premiere?
It is too early to know the exact date on which fifth season of The crown is coming to Netflix. That won’t happen until 2022, although that was to be expected given that the wait was also longer with the other cast change.
The first four seasons premiered in November or December and we think it’s very likely that this will happen again with the next chapters. So our bet is that the new of The crown will arrive in fall 2022.
So far all seasons have had a total of 10 episodes each, so hopefully that will be the case for the new season as well. These should last about an hour.

As we said, the fifth season will feature a new cast. This decision was already public from the start, with the idea that the first two seasons would be led by Claire Foy, the next two by another (Olivia Colman) and the last two by a third.
