Many fans of the Fallout games wondered if the Amazon Prime Video series would capture the spirit of the original. It turned out that the creators of the series were up to the task. They took viewers on a fascinating journey through a post-apocalyptic world filled with both dangers and surprises.
Amazon has entrusted the adaptation of Fallout to Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, with their company Kilter Films. The choice was carefully considered, given the fact that the duo had already created the futuristic series Westworld for HBO.
In addition to Nolan, Joy and Athena Wickham of Kilter Films, the series’ executive producer is Todd Howard, who has directed several games in the Fallout franchise. The management team is supported by James Altman of Bethesda Softworks.
The series’ showrunners are Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner, who also work as writers and executive producers on the project.
The season finale solved some mysteries but also created new ones. We gather all the information about the second season of Fallout from Prime Video.

Will there be a Fallout season 2?
Fallout season 1 received favorable reviews from audiences and critics alike, so many viewers are hoping for a sequel. The creators have apparently planned a multi-season story that will take the audience deep into the post-apocalyptic world.
So far, Amazon has not given the green light to a second season of Fallout. However, Variety reports that California has already approved a $25 million tax credit, so the renewal appears to be just a formality.
We will inform you as soon as information on this becomes available. If it is renewed, we may be able to predict the release date based on the production schedule of season 1.
Season 1 of the post-apocalyptic series is now streaming on Prime Video.
What could the plot of Fallout season 2 be about?
Spoilers for season 1 below.
The world of Fallout is very colorful and has a long history. It’s full of extraordinary inventions, bizarre mutants, crazy people, confusing robots and warring factions.
The first season only showed a slice of this universe. In the second season, the creators will have the opportunity to present a broader cut of the post-apocalyptic world, where retro aesthetics mix with futuristic technology.

Here’s a list of key storylines we think will appear in Fallout Season 2:
Lucy, Ghoul and Dog’s journey together
In the season 1 finale, Lucy decides to team up with the hated Ghoul and set out in pursuit of Hank together. Lucy’s father is probably heading to where Vault-Tec’s main bosses are hidden. By tracking him down, Ghoul hopes to find his wife and daughter, who were supposed to end up in one of the company’s best vaults.
The fight for Cold Fusion
Moldaver managed to recover the Cold Fusion technology, but his hideout was soon taken by the Brotherhood of Steel. The military therefore probably got hold of the invention. However, in Season 2, they are likely to be fighting for cold fusion with other factions, including the Clave, from which Dr. Siggi Wilzig escaped.
The story of the ghoul
The first season showed a fragment of events that happened 200 years ago. However, it is still unclear how Cooper separated from his wife and what happened to his family right after the atomic explosion. In season 2, the writers must fill in these gaps.

Maximus and the Brotherhood of Steel
Despite all the morally questionable decisions Maximus made, he was offered not only to return to the Brotherhood but also to participate in its reconstruction. Perhaps in season 2, Maximus will have to decide whether he wants to dedicate himself to the Brotherhood and help them take over the Wasteland or help Lucy.
Standard and safe 31
One of the most exciting elements of the season was Lucy’s brother’s attempt to untangle the web of conspiracies surrounding Vaults 31, 32, and 33. Unfortunately, curiosity is the first degree of hell. Although Norm had his questions answered, he was stuck in Vault 31. Someone will probably have to help Norm out. Perhaps it will be Chet who can escape Vault 32, supervised by the extremely scary Steph.
Thaddeus as a ghoul
The injured squire’s decision to trust a “doctor” he met by chance turned out to be very imprudent. However, Thaddeus’ transformation was one of the funniest scenes in the finale. We hope the unlucky soldier appears in season 2 and not as a wild zombie-like ghoul.
Mysteries of the chests
According to a conversation Cooper overheard 200 years earlier, the creators of the crypts had many strange ideas for managing their inhabitants. Residents forced to fight for resources, controlled by a milk-dispensing robot, or transformed into Super-Mutants are just a few of them. We hope that in season 2 we will visit more shelters and discover new puzzles hidden there.
