EA SPORTS and CONMEBOL are proud to announce details of the long awaited iLibertadores * qualifications, EA SPORTS FIFA 20 Global Series and giving South American players a new way to connect to the CONMEBOL Libertadores competition.
The winner of this inaugural tournament will receive 450 points to leave EA SPORTS FIFA 20 Global Series and most of the prize pool of $ 100,000 USD will be taken home, at the same time he will be named the winner of the first ConMEBOL tournament in Libertadores.
In addition, for the first time, South America's largest club tournament, the CONMEBOL Libertadores Cup, will be available at EA SPORTS ™ FIFA 20 as a free content update ** March 2020 for PlayStation®4, Xbox One and PC.

Online section
All uninsured players at the FUT Champions over 16 years old in Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Uruguay, Paraguay and Venezuela are eligible and can register at https://battlefy.com/elibertadores.
The CONMEBOL tournament in Libertadores Phase I will be held February 21, 2020.
Category II Online
The 32 best Class I players will join the FUT Champions certified players in this Phase II online qualification tournament. Qualified competitors in the first stage online can make a name for themselves by traveling with proven players from similar South American countries: Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Uruguay, Paraguay and Venezuela. The Phase II online competition will take place on dates March 7 and 8, 2020.
The Grand Final
The top 16 players (eight on PlayStation®4 and eight on Xbox One) in phase II will advance to the Grand Final (a date and place will be announced later). Only one player will receive the honor and will be selected as South America's best player as the first CONMEBOL striker in the Libertadores.
