Though this update to the current GPUs is not as great as the introduction of the RTX SUPER, but a check from NVIDIA to AMD will push the introduction of the Radeon RX 5700M and RX 5600M next to laptops. This way, it will place its GPUs closer to those of AMD, reducing the market share.
NVIDIA Updates RTX 2060 and RTX 2070 for Gaming Laptops
There are many important changes that NVIDIA introduced when introducing the RTX SUPER for gaming laptops, including the use of GDDR6's low-resolution graphics memory and new-generation controllers to improve power performance. Now, the official XMG representative has revealed how the GeForce RTX 2060 and RTX 2070 game laptops have been updated with this change: too much memory more efficient, lower usage and deliver better performance.
As for the important changes, the RTX 2070s feature the same 2304 CUDA cores and 8GB GDDR6 VRAM cores, while the RTX 2060s retain the 1920 c20 CUDAs, just like the original RTX 2060s. As for TDP, the RTX 2070 saves 115 watts, howeverlike the RTX 2060 they jump a bit because they range from 90 to 90 watts
Depending on the speed of the clock, both charts get a a small boost will improve your performance, increasing the operating frequency from 1440 to 1485 MHz on the RTX 2070, and from 1200 to 1285 MHz on the RTX 2060, an increase that will definitely be seen.

Increasing debt GDDR6 voltage drop, that lower usage allows for increased performance speed, which directly affects the gaming performance. These chips now run at 1.25V instead of 1.35V, allowing the GPU to get more power.
In addition to this, as we have said before, a a new electronic controller it is designed for these two GPUs. According to NVIDIA, about 15% of the TDP allocated for the GPU on the laptop is lost due to the controller, but when introduced the new designs work more energy (luckily, NVIDIA hasn't said how much energy is lost now). At the moment, of course, it is not clear if they will have technology Smart Shift and Advanced Optimus
Is this the way to get up on the AMD Radeon RX 5700M?
One thing seems clear, and that NVIDIA has been forced to surrender its graphics card modes for gaming laptops by looking at what AMD has on camera. You already know that when there is no competition, producers can afford to pay for new things to make the most of the economic benefits, but when competition is pressing, they have to start moving so they are not left behind. And boy is the decline of AMD.
So, it seems that these RTX 2070 and RTX 2060 Refreshs are coming in to try to put the next launch Radeon RX 5700M and RTX 5600M is more complicated in AMD. Both GPUs are being announced at CES 2020, but no book composing them is included, which makes us think their launch will come sooner rather than later.
Thus, NVIDIA aims to not only dominate the market for high-end gaming laptops, but also seek to consume AMD ground in the middle-class, which is ultimately the best-selling and most lucrative global manufacturer.
