Game of Thrones was one of the most successful series of all time. If you were one of those who couldn’t leave the screen before experiencing one of television’s most exciting storylines, you know all too well the feeling of emptiness left by the end of the series.
Let’s remember: it was in May 2019. HBO aired the last episode. There was a lot of anger and a lot of dissatisfaction about how Game of Thrones ended. Many have criticized the lack of care of this last season, which contrasted with the quality and near perfection of previous seasons.
We want more.
And HBO knows it. For this reason (and surely for all the money that can surely continue to be raised with the Game of Thrones brand), HBO has started talking about sequels, series, plots and stories that would allow us to continue to connect us with the Game of Thrones universe.
Many of these possible sequel series have not been confirmed, however, a series that will star Jon Snow, also known as Jon Snow, was recently confirmed.
What will the Jon Snow series be about?
As you can imagine, there is not much information about it yet, as it is still a secret project. However, The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that, indeed, the series was being taped.
It also looks like the series will focus on the life of Jon Snow (what a surprise). More precisely, we will be able to approach his life Beyond the wall. His relationship with the Wildlings of the Cold Lands north of Winterfell.
We will (hopefully) be able to see some very important characters from the original Game of Thrones story again, like the now Queen in the North, Sansa Stark or the adventurer Arya Stark. However, we will still have to wait to find out how to be part of the history of Game of Thrones.
In the meantime, we remind you that House of Dragon will air on August 21, an HBO Max series that tells the story of the Targaryans 200 years before the TV story we all know.
When can we see the Jon Snow series?
It’s still too early to tell, although if the series is already filming, we can perhaps estimate that the Jon Snow series will air in late 2022 or as early as 2023.
