Shopping on Black Friday sales can be tough, especially if you want a new smartwatch, but this deal makes your life a whole lot easier.
If you're considering a new Android-compatible smartwatch, we highly recommend the OnePlus Watch 2R right now as the best smartwatch for most people. It only comes in one specification, making pricing and comparison easier. The watch usually costs £249 in the UK, but OnePlus has dropped the price to just £169 for Black Friday.
That's a pretty cool 32% off, and you also get a choice of three free accessories to accompany the watch.
You can choose between these options: fluoro rubber strap, charging base and OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro in Soft Jade or Star Black. In total you could get £143.98 worth of extra gear for free in addition to the discounted watch.
Amazon actually has the Watch 2R available from £166.59, so a bit cheaper than OnePlus. However, you do not receive any of the free gifts.
In the United States, there are equally good deals on smartwatches. The OnePlus Watch 2R usually costs $229.99, but OnePlus' Black Friday deal means it's available for just $169.99. This is a slightly lower 26% discount compared to its UK counterpart, and you only get one free bracelet. But it's still a decent saving if you're already eyeing this watch.
However, if you want to take advantage of one of these deals, you'll need to be quick. OnePlus Black Friday sales expected to end after Cyber Monday on December 2but with the items on offer, they could sell this smartwatch before then.
Sometimes less is more and although OnePlus' “R” models are the downgraded versions of the flagships, we actually prefer the Watch 2R to the main OnePlus Watch 2.
It may not come in a smaller size, but the switch to lighter aluminum instead of stainless steel makes a big difference. It's also cheaper, but doesn't come with any major degradation in specifications.
