Whatsapp and Google messages on Android phones have reasons to rejoice.
According to the Android Authority report, a recent apk disassembly of the latest version of the application revealed that users will soon be able to make WhatsApp video calls directly from messages.
Users who chat in messages with WhatsApp are installed will see a new video icon in the upper right menu. Press it on the “WhatsApp Video Call” option, allowing you to transparently start a conversation via WhatsApp.
However, this feature is currently limited to head-to-face cats. It is not clear if the functionality will be extended to include group cats.
In the meantime, if you are in a group cat or discuss with someone without WhatsApp, the video call option will be by default in Google. Ideally, the messages will allow users to choose between WhatsApp and meet for video calls, giving more flexibility.
Although there is no confirmed release date, this feature would be actively developed and could be deployed in the coming weeks.
This is not the only news to come to WhatsApp users, because this new Pixel feature could soon fold your WhatsApp messages.
