The Google Pixel Buds Pro wireless headphones are now official after being showcased by the company at the I/O 2022 event the company holds every year to show developers the company’s progress.
This year there have been many hardware news from Google, since in addition to the headphones, Google showed the new Pixel 6a phone, the evolution of the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, the Pixel Watch smartwatch, as well as the headphones which here annotated with high -end features.
We say range prime as they implement a whole host of new features that we haven’t seen in their current release Pixel Buds Aas is the case with active noise cancellation, custom drivers and wireless charging in the case.
When will Pixel Buds Pro go on sale?
We will have to wait a little longer, since the new Pixel Buds Pro can be reserved from July 21. The final sale is scheduled for the following week, July 28, which will arrive with the new phone
Google has not yet revealed in which countries or geographical areas they will initially be available, so it is likely that in the case of Europe, Mexico or Latin American countries, the final availability will be later than initially planned for the United States.
How much will the Pixel Buds Pro cost?
As we could already predict in the days before its presentation, the final price of the new premium headphones from Google reaches 200 dollars. According to this, they will cost just twice as much as the Pixel Buds A which currently costs 99 $ and which you can buy at Google Store from Europe.
This price puts them in the price range that other models currently have, such as the Galaxy Buds Pro from Samsung, which have a recommended price of $239 with ANC active noise cancellation and smart features.
The new Pixel Buds Pro arrive with finishes in four different colors of the headphones, in orange, yellow, blue or black. All have in common the same white base which has a charging system using a USB C connector.
What are the specs of the Pixel Buds Pro?
The main new feature is the new Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) mode, which is the first time it’s been built into the Pixel Buds, with Silent Seal which Google says can adapt to the shape of your ear to maximize the amount of noise cancellation.
It’s powered by the company’s proprietary processor, with 6 cores to handle the AI algorithms. They also offer a transparency mode so you can hear what’s going on around you when you’re walking around a big city.
Some interesting functions stand out, such as the possibility of activating the voice assistant Google Assistant, as well as acting as a language translator, a function which will initially be available in certain languages (this remains to be specified by Google).
For battery life, Google says the Pixel Buds Pro can guarantee up to 11+ hours of music playback, with the added bonus of being able to manage Audio Spatial sound quality.
Sensors can also monitor atmospheric pressure by picking them up from your ears. The volume equalizer will adjust the headphones when you adjust the volume so that the sound is balanced between bass, midrange and treble.
Multipoint connectivity means Pixel Buds Pro can quickly and seamlessly switch between devices (phone, tablet or watch) without you having to worry about Bluetooth settings menus.
Google touts clear call quality, even if you’re on the go in windy weather, thanks to beamforming microphones, voice accelerometer, windproof mesh covers and bone conduction technology.
As it happens with the Pixel Buds A original, the headphones support Google Assistant with real-time language translation. They offer IPX4 water resistance and with fast charging you can reach an hour of use with just 5 minutes of charging.
