Google Stadia, formerly known as Project Stream, has been with us for a few months and there is no doubt that it aims to revolutionize the way we find, play and share online games.
By leveraging the power of the cloud, the service aims to provide a high quality gaming experience without the need for a virtual console in your home, simply by plugging in the TV and Chromecast on the phone or tablet, ensuring game continuity.
Between a community of PC gaming users and consoles, let's say it's up to scratch because it provides a high-end PC gaming experience that is passed on to any device, either smartphone, tablet or TV.
And it's already a tablet or the last generation, or the television you're connecting to the Chromecast, it will be able to play 4K image quality, which ensures your game progress when moving from one device or screen to another.
It's actually not a new concept as we've had PlayStation Now for years, as well as Nvidia's GeForce for Nvidia, both of which offer game experience like Google offers with Stadia.
What is changing at this point is that for sure, after a large number of technologies like Google, it is expected that the app will provide good quality. Below, we outline all the features this service offers such as pricing plans, video game catalog, and gaming options.
What is Google Stadia?
Google Stadia is the vision that Google has for the future of gaming, a cloud-based service so you don't rely too much on it hardware of devices, something that has forced users to acquire new, modern machines over the years.
In this way, Google Stadia is a data streaming service that connects to data centers around the world, so whenever you have low latency internet connectivity, in theory, you can play your favorite games from anywhere
It's more than a streaming service. Stadia is designed to be its own platform, with a decentralized platform that will provide a quality 8K gaming experience at 120 fps, according to Google itself.
What makes it different is that as Phil Harrison reveals during our launch, it will work wherever YouTube is, whether it's a straightforward TV, computer, laptop, tablet, a smartphone, or a television connected to a Chromecast device.
It is also possible to switch devices instantly to continue (for example on a mobile phone) that exciting game that you have left times before on your Smart TV.
The program aims to remove barriers imposed by other video game platforms, such as dedicated hardware dependencies to manage games.
Stadia downloads games in five seconds or less, allowing you to call a digital game and play right away, rather than waiting for gigabytes of gigabytes to update and dots to install first.
It is closely linked to YouTube, with the idea that you can go from watch to play (and vice versa) without any problems. You can Click the & # 39; Play Stadia & # 39; if you see a YouTube preview or game (these plans are not yet done), but they may be coming soon.
In addition to being able to play up to 4K @ 60fps (on Chromecast Ultra and, more recently, on laptops), you'll finally be able to stream on YouTube at the same time.
This should not only generate more YouTube content, but should also foster a collective appreciation for what is called Crazy Play. It's a Stadia feature that will allow you to invite friends or viewers to join you while streaming on YouTube.
Google says this can increase user engagement as it will allow you to set specific challenges for fans to complete, or allow people to view tutorials and head straight to a specific game site. It's an exciting idea when Google finally manages to do it.
Where is Google Stadia located?
Google Stadia was launched on November 19, 2019 in 14 countries and was later expanded to other parts of the world. You can currently purchase in our country for a trial period extended by Google.
How much is Google Stadia?
As you may know, it is an installation package containing Chromecast Ultra and a wireless controller on Night Blue. All this costs € 129,99. This is a device package hardware, comes with a three-month personal pass to sign up for Stadia Pro, another three-month pass to invite someone, and an option to choose guests from the platform.
However, during a shutdown that has been gaining ground worldwide, Google has decided to offer the use of its Stadia Pro service for two months free of charge to test the platform.
You can sign up for Stadia Pro from Google, and if you join right now, you can play Stadia Pro for two months for free during the global epidemic. Current Stadia Pro subscribers also don't have to pay during this two-month period.
Currently, this gives you access to nine free games, including Destiny 2. Google highlights that, in order to play with family or other friends, you may have to purchase multiple controllers separately.
The price of these units is limited to € 70 per unit, though you can always turn to the right products. In fact, the company recently announced that the wireless control support included in the package is now compatible with all notebook computers.
Google Stadia: Tips and Subscriptions
A subscription to Google Stadia has a price that is very similar to other functions of to broadcast video or audio like Netflix, HBO or Sotify, among others. Its monthly price is € 9.99 per month, with access to a full selection of free and paid games.
For some special games or recent releases, you'll need to buy it with a guarantee to keep it even if you let your Stadia Pro registration expire. Stadia Pro mode is the only one that guarantees 4K @ 60 fps transmission with 5.1 surround sound.
Google also has Google Stadia Base mode, a free mode that doesn't include free games from other programs, so you'll need to separately buy any title you want to play, with a quality limit set at 1080p, instead of 4K.
What does Stadia offer in comparison to competing services?
Shadow is another cloud-based streaming service that offers the full Windows 10 experience on a variety of devices, from PCs to laptops to mobile devices.
It looks for games that fit in with the GTX 1080 graphics and 12 GB of RAM, and depending on your internet connection, you can have 4K at 60 fps gaming. It's a very different approach to Stadia, as Microsoft Shadow offers a Windows desktop-based environment.
At € 29.99 a month, it's not cheap, but it's certainly better than paying a high-end PC to run games with specs like Shadow & # 39; s. Stadia's platform is cheap, but you'll need to see the type of game titles we will be able to access, as well as the remaining ones we will pay for.
What devices can I play Stadia on?
It was initially only compatible with Google Chromecast Ultra (the exact one that came in the box with the pre-order of the developer) and the official Stadia controller (now included in the premium version, which costs € 129.

Google Stadia and related controls
Although we already point out that there is no such console, you have a formal order or controller. The idea is to access Stadia as you do with Netflix or YouTube, by pressing one button to start playing. Excellent experience.
The key is that Stadia Remote Control connects directly to the Stadia service via Wi-Fi connection and not to the device you're playing, allowing for smooth switching between devices without lag or latency.
As for the command, there seems to be a disconnect between the controls for Xbox One and DualShock 4 for standard functions (including USB-C charging), as well as two new features.
On the other hand, the Share button lets you stream games and share them with others. On the other hand, the Voice command button allows you to contact Google Assistant. You will be able to say things like "I want to play Destiny 2 with Alan and Luna" to set up a team with some players.
The good news is that the Stadia driver is not a requirement for most devices; You can use any USB-enabled controller (Xbox One, DualShock 4, etc.) as well as keyboard and mouse to play Google Stadia games on PC or other platform through third-party controllers.
Google Stadia Requirements
While the full list of instruments has not yet been announced, Google has confirmed the following requirements that a PC or computer should fully support Stadia:

- RAM: 16GB RAM
