Vikings has been one of the most sensational series of recent years. With up to six seasons of fights, wars, love and revenge, which have managed to keep millions of viewers around the world attentive to the plots of this hit series.
Thanks to the success of Vikings and, surely, the fact that there were so many people who wanted more, once the series ended with its sixth season, it was created Vikings: Walhalla.
It will be a spin-off of the series thanks to which we can continue to be immersed in the same universe as the original Vikings. Of course, the story will take place a century later so, obviously, it will be other characters that we will approach this time.
When and where will Vikings: Valhalla be released?
The series begins in Netflix on February 25 of that same year. So, to watch Vikings: Valhalla, you will need a Netflix subscription.
If you are not lucky enough to have a friend who leaves you his password to watch the series, you will have no choice but to pay for the subscription yourself.
Is it worth paying for Netflix? It depends. If you really like watching series and movies, the answer is clear: yes. Netflix’s catalog of shows and movies is huge (these are the best Netflix shows in case you want to check them out), so you’ll always have something to watch at your fingertips.
Unlike those websites (of dubious reputation), where you can watch content for free, a thousand ads (many of them with viruses) won’t jump on Netflix. You can watch your series quickly and easily from the device of your choice, even without an Internet connection thanks to Netflix downloads.
Netflix offers different packages: the cheapest is $7.99 (but only one person can use it). There are also plans for $12.99 and $17.99 if you want to share the account with more people.
What is the spin-off Vikings: Valhalla about?
As we announced in previous sections, Vikings Valhalla will time travel a century after the original Vikings. That is to say that we will be located in the year 1066 at a historical moment in which England was being invaded.
We will be able to know very closely the history of the Vikings, who today are famous historical figures. This is the case of Leif Erikson, Freydis, Harald Harada and King William the Conqueror.
