Mac vs. Windows is a debate that has been going on for years, since both have emerged as the best apps. About 77% of all desktop devices running Windows are, without a doubt, Microsoft winning in the popular competition.
But Mac users are noisy little people, boasting good reliability and easily sharing information from the iPhone or iPad.
With that in mind, here are some important MacOS Catalina features that we would like to see come to Windows 10.
Black oscuridad Mode Black & # 39;
Apple introduced black mode to the MacOS High Sierra in 2018, before adding the option to automatically unlock it in Catalina the following year.
This makes perfect sense: at the beginning of the day a light screen will be sufficient for production, while the lunchtime is reserved for a more peaceful finish.
Interestingly, though Microsoft will add black mode in the next few months, it can only be enabled or disabled in settings. With black mode accessing multiple and more devices, this looks like a visual expression.
Better device integration
The value of the Apple Ecosystem has been well documented in recent years, with the ability to share messages, files, and other information as a great selling point.
While disconnecting Windows phones made this unlikely for Microsoft, we would like to see the company take steps to ensure that the devices that people use on a daily basis are connected.
The upcoming launch of Surface Duo suggests that it will embrace Android as a mobile platform, so there is no reason for it.
Enter more software free of charge
Buying a new PC or laptop is an important investment. Apple has seen that with a number of free apps that come with MacOS inbox.
This includes basic production tools such as the iWork suite (Pages, Numbers, Keynote), but also advanced applications such as GarageBand and iMovie. And it's the only platform that Final Cut Pro has, namely software improved video editing.
On Windows, apps like Word, Excel and PowerPoint are after a paywall. Although combining the registration of Microsoft 365 with Windows 10 may not make sense, it's easy to forget that the company is still producing them as separate applications.
Installing the 2019 versions of these programs can be a great selling point for many who are thinking of switching to Windows.
Since Windows Movie Maker, Microsoft has chosen not to upgrade its own software video editing, Adobe Creative Cloud dependencies. Those are some subscriptions that most people cannot forgive, so a basic video editor can also be accepted.
The first steps are already taken with the development of your phone system, but that can easily be expanded to make the process more fluid.
Ensuring that the operating system is very secure
It may not be the case, but Windows 10 has been attacked by insects a few months ago. The huge popularity of Windows makes it a common target for malware and viruses, but we would like Microsoft to take additional steps to protect its users.
Apple is not immune to security breaches, but it seems strange and unusual. This is due in part to its Unix-based architecture, something that is not possible for Windows because Microsoft has to open it to third-party developers.
However, as viruses continue to adapt, Microsoft's cyber security will need to do the same to ensure that users are protected.
Although there are some macOS features that may be acceptable on Windows, this does not mean that Apple laptops are better than their Windows counterparts. Check out our collection of Windows 10 features we'd like to see in MacOS.
