Four patches now!
Well yes, curiously, since Star Wars Jedi Survivor will arrive in store saw how about four patches have been released on pc, which continue to this day without solving the large number of errors that attack gamers when playing a PC game. Because while things work reasonably well on consoles, within the Windows ecosystem, the movie is very different.
But hey, as we tell you, A new patch has been released which tries to fix a lot of the bugs that it gives in many PC configurations, and while we can say that it has softened the experience a bit, and is not so disastrous anymore, it leaves out some solutions which, we we understand, will be undertaken from the next few days.
The most obvious is that Star Wars Jedi Survivor significantly reduced the stuttering and that, therefore, it’s less annoying when you start playing although, yes, it still feels very slow on some occasions. Fortunately, applying the latest patch has brought some improvements, such as an increase in the number of frames per second under certain configurations, on the order of four to eight frames. It’s not much, but it’s something.
Things the patch does not improve
Installing the patch gives us a clear first impression: your app doesn’t make the game feel much better, reaching the minimum level required, but it does not become bad at all. So that “less bad” becomes a consolation for the player, who now notices it on his computer Star Wars Jedi Survivor
Even so, if we want to apply the highest level of graphics quality, we are going to have a hard time if we decide to play in a glorious 4K: only in 1080p and 1440p things seem to improve even if, paradoxically, the good feelings are ruined the moment we apply presets average levels or low, where Star Wars Jedi Survivor responds less well than in higher resolutions. Yeah, exactly, that doesn’t seem to make sense.
This problem has obvious victims and they are users with PCs with relatively old hardware or who have a Steam Deck, where they will check that things are not working well for them and that this drop in performance is particularly affecting them. Keep in mind that the Valve laptop has been transformed over the past year into a place many enjoy players latest news from the online store, so it is certain that something like this will not please them.
At any rate, Electronic Arts and Respawn are working in other patches that will arrive in the coming weeks with the aim of letting Star Wars Jedi Survivor because it should have arrived originally in stores. That it is without major failures and performs as is required of a novelty of 2023. Or maybe that’s why it happened like that?
