Why the crack?
We've probably got this thing we all play on a PC. The burglary is picture distortion that can be seen on the screen and what happens when the graphic processor (GPU) you lost the sync and screen Creates a straight line where the upper section can no longer be aligned with the bottom showing the frame, while the other part shows the opposite. In extreme cases, two or even more of these can occur.
When the GPU is under heavy load, it may not be able to keep the FPS synchronized at the monitor's refresh rate, and as a result a portion of the screen comes with a frame drawn and one part of the screen alternately (next, usually), leaving the so-called «descending frames«, Or an independent GPU has to skip to continue drawing the next one on the screen. This is what is known as breaking.
How to fix screen bumps
One of the most obvious solutions is to have a professional monitor It's free or Adaptive Sync in case your graphics card is AMD, or a professional monitor G-Sync in the case where your graphic is NVIDIA, because this technology enables the monitor monitor to automatically adjust to the FPS generated by the graphics card, so that hacking can be avoided altogether.
But fortunately, there are also things you can do without spending money, and we will continue to explain them below.
1.- Download the image settings or game resolution
We've explained before the cracking happens because the graph can't produce enough frames per second to adjust to the monitor's refresh rate, and one of the things you can do is lower the game settings or lower the resolution, so the graph doesn't have too much load and SPF increases. As a general rule, if your guard is 60 Hz and has more than 60 FPS, you will never be sad.
2.- Use hardware acceleration
You may not be ripping you off in games, but for other needs like watching videos in the stream. In this case, hacking can sometimes happen because we don't have hardware acceleration allowed in the browser, and logically if the image has to be made by software and not the GPU, for that matter, this is possible.
For example, in Chrome you can find it in settings, advanced, system.
3.- Activate vertical alignment
If the game has the ability to use vertical sync (VSYNC) and brake it, use it. That should solve or alleviate the problem, though it is true that if you are torn because the GPU doesn't provide much of itself it will have to convert equally to point 1. You can also push it to the graphics card control panel, either from AMD or from NVIDIA.
4.- Enable "Triple buffering" game options
If the game allows it, this method helps a lot to avoid tearing it because as its name implies, the violence (kind of guard) is designed to ensure that until one frame is reached, it will not be transferred to the next. This has the unfortunate point that we can get "suspended" from games.
If none of these options work (though number 1 should always be useful), unfortunately it will be a free time in your pocket and you'll have to buy a guard with FreeSync / G-Sync or a new, more powerful image (or both).
