How to Block Spam Calls on Android

Spam calls can disrupt your day, waste your time, and even expose you to scams.

Block a specific number

Most Android phones come with a built-in call blocking feature. Here’s how to use it:

1. Open the phone app.
2. Tap the Recent Calls or Call History tab to view your incoming calls.
3. Find the number you want to block and tap its icon.
4. Scroll down until you see “Block numbers” and tap it.
5. You will be asked if you are sure you want to block the number. Tap “Block” to confirm.

Enable Google spam protection
