First, it should be borne in mind that a change in the monitor's level of track can make a hiker look bad, because if for example a monitor was designed to work at 60 Hz and only 60 Hz, for example we would reduce it to 50 Hz, the image would be less clear and would be blurry. Besides, if we use this method that will teach you to change the monitor's monitor level, we will have the option to do it with frequency associated with our monitor.
How to change the refresh rate
The first step is to access the screen settings. To do this, we can right-click on an empty space on the desktop and select from the menu option "Display configuration", or we can click on the start and type the specified word to access it.
Once inside, we will have to go down and select the option «Advanced screen settings».
And on the screen that opens, we have to click on "Show screen adapter properties 1». This number may change if we have several monitors, choosing between one or the other.
A new window will be opened. In this case, we should go to the "Monitor" tab, where we will find a drop-down menu that will allow us to eventually change the monitor's monitor rating.
Keep in mind, as we have said, that only the pricing supported by the software will be shown, since in fact choosing an incompatible frequency will cause problems. Also note that if, for example, we select 50 Hz and go to the game where we worked, vertical synchronization (VSYNC), the game will run at 50 FPS instead of 60 FPS.
Similarly, for game viewers with frequencies of 144 Hz or higher, it would be normal to get more options than we have set for example (taken with a 60 Hz Dell U3415W monitor), and we will get Prices 144, 120, 60 and 50 Hz for everything possible.
If the desired refresh rate does not appear
In the previous window there is an option, gray, which says hide the refreshing values that do not match the monitor. Depending on the version of Windows 10 you have with the graphics drivers, this option may be available and after not setting it up, we'll see all the update options for the update, whether they are compatible or not.
If we are sure that our monitoring is consistent with a certain level of refreshment and does not appear on the list, there are only three things to check:
- You have the latest card card drivers installed.
- That the cable you are using is compatible with the refresh rate.
- That you are using the correct monitor connector.
