The first thing to do, logically, download and install Aida64 on your PC To do this you can access them web page, where you will receive a trial version (it's a free version of the software and all its functionality, but has a specific expiration date) for any of its versions. With the Aida64 Extreme version you will have enough to do the exercises we will explain below.
VRAM theoretical performance
The first way to measure VRAM performance of a graphics card is not to make any mark, because what the software will do is simply counting. performance bus of ideas
To access it, in the left menu you have to show «Screen» and select «GPU». On the right-hand side we show the data we are referring to.
This is a function, as we have said, theoretical and unmeasured of VRAM, but it is not such a function but simply a memory.
GPGPU Performance
Our favorite tests are now available in the Tools menu -> GPGPU functionality.
In the window that opens, we must simply press on the GPU only (And we can do the same processor test, but warn you that it takes longer; while the GPU test only can last about one minute, the CPU can last 5 minutes depending on its performance.
Once selected, click on Start Benchmark and wait for it to finish.
Note: even though you see that the window is green and the NVIDIA logo appears, this is because the image used by NVIDIA in the example case, but if you use an AMD image it will appear red, or if Intel, it will appear blue with their respective logo. This is a bench Compatible with any GPU
Here we can see the actual VRAM functionality of the graphics card in the first three parameters: read (read), write (write) and copy (copy). In addition, as you would imagine this test not only serves to measure the performance of photographic memory but also to other calculations such as graphical performance accuracy, which gives us the celebrity TFLOPs most commonly used to get GPU image power.
