The awards season has already begun and that means little in the event of the Goya Awards, the most documented day in the Spanish cinema calendar.
The nominees were announced in December last year in an action presented by Miguel Herrán and Elena Anaya, winners of Giya for the Best Revelation Actor 2016 and Best Female Interpretation protagonist 2011 respectively.
In last year's language, the biggest winner was film State by Rodrigo Sorogoyen, even though Goyaya of the Best Film Winners. RomeAlfonso Cuarón has won the award for a Spanish-speaking foreign film.

When and where is the Goya 2020 Awards gala celebrated
The 34th edition of the 2020 Go20 Awards takes place this Saturday, January 25 at the José María Martín Carpn Sportspena Sports Palace in Malaga. It will be the second time in history that the event will have no place in Madrid.
