How to watch Glastonbury 2024 live online in Ultra HD
As in previous years, you can get almost unlimited live coverage of Glastonbury via the BBC Glastonbury website, where you can choose which stage you want to watch on, including The Pyramid Stage, The Other Stage, The West Holts Stage and The Woodies Stage.
The BBC has announced that over 90 hours of coverage will be available via iPlayer, more than ever before. The dedicated Glastonbury channel will be live from Thursday to Sunday, as well as the second Glastonbury channel for additional coverage.
Before the festival even begins, you can watch highlights from previous years, including 30-minute specials from Dua Lipa and Coldplay.
Glastonbury will be broadcast in 4K Ultra HD quality if you have a compatible TV and streaming device – you can see a full list of what’s supported on the BBC website.
You’ll also need a strong internet connection – the BBC recommends 24Mbps to stream full 4K, or 12Mbps for Ultra HD 2560p.
This programme will be limited to Pyramid Stage sets and there may be a ‘Best of’ programme after the festival as in previous years. On iPlayer, ensure ‘Best Quality’ is selected in the Settings menu under ‘Video Quality’ to get 4K Ultra HD.
It’s also worth noting that iPlayer will, like last year, feature a Pyramid Stage – Signed stream, which includes British Sign Language.
