Huawei officially announced the Huawei Watch 5 as its flagship intelligent watch alongside the Activity Tracker Fit 4 and Fit 4, Smartwatch Hybrids.
The 5 watch arrives in two different sizes, the optional titanium housing and a new “X-TAP” sensor while the Fit 4 series offers a very large watch and an ultra-esque watch.
To better compete with Apple, Samsung Galaxy Watch and Google Pixel Watch, Huawei now offers watch 5 in sizes of 42 or 46 mm.
The 42 mm version is available in four different looks with all with a stainless steel case. The 46 mm model is also available in four colors and including a titanium option if you are ready to splash.
All models have a new generation of LTPO display technology that Huawei has moved in recent years, which now includes a more curved sapphire glass to offer strong protection against scratches.
Aside from the new sizes, the news is the introduction of the new Huawei X-TAP sensor, which can be found on the side of the watch case and includes pressure, ECG and PPG sensors. This new sensor promises more precise health monitoring, in particular by taking blood oxygen readings from your finger to imitate with a traditional pulse oximeter.

The Watch 5 works on the latest version of Harmonyos from Huawei with ESIM support for this more attached experience. There is also access to the window of the Appgallery and you can now use new gestural commands that allow you to repeat alarms, manage calls or adjust music reading by sliding or tapping with double tape.
Elsewhere, you have access to more than 100 sports modes with improved GPS follow -up for water sports. Huawei also includes a double -band GPS to increase the precision of external monitoring when using nearby buildings and in deeply wooded areas.
The battery life on watch 5 will depend on the size of the housing with the 46 mm version offering up to 4.5 days with typical use, which is from 3 days on the watch 4. You will get up to 3 days with the 42 mm model with the two versions offering a smart battery mode which goes to a less powerful battery mode when you become low.
This allows the watch to last 7 to 11 days respectively for each size.

Alongside the watch 5, Huawei also announced the Watch Fit 4 and a new Watch Fit 4 Pro, with a set of design and features which is clearly intended for series 10 and Apple Watch Ultra 2.
Fit 4 is available in black, gray, purple and white colors while the pro is available in green, blue or black. All adjustment models are waterproof at 50 meters, the pro also offering a design suitable for recreational diving up to 40 meters deep.
There is a 1.82 inch Amoled screen on all the watches made 4 series, with the non-4 Fit surrounding this touch screen with aluminum and pro with titanium. The brightness of the pro display reaches 3,000 nits, against 2,000 nits on adjustment 4.
Regarding the features, you get watches with integrated GPS and it is the latest double -band GPS technology also offered on Watch 5 Prier 5. Both offer air pressure sensors and improved GPS monitoring for water sports such as surfing and rowing.

These are watches that offer the best that Huawei also has to offer in sleep monitoring, the pro also offering the possibility of monitoring the variability of heart rate to provide richer information.
Harmonyos performs the software program, giving you access to the Appgallery Storefront via the application, an integrated music player and you can use an AI voice assistant when associated with a Huawei smartphone.
The large gains of features that you make in Go Going Pro are the inclusion of an ECG sensor, richer golf and diving monitoring, as well as improved cartography navigation support for activities such as running.
The battery life through the Fit series is the same, offering up to 7 days in regular use and 10 days when using the battery SAVER mode.
The Huawei Watch 5 will be sold from today with prices in the United Kingdom from £ 399 and up to £ 599 depending on the size of the model and the housing equipment. Meanwhile, Fit 4 is at the price of £ 149 with the Fit 4 pro arriving at £ 249.
As usual, Huawei has not revealed the prices or if you can expect easily the Watch 5 and the new series Fit 4 series in the United States.
