Nintendo is one of those companies used to filling the market with new console models that they are customized for certain sagas in their catalog. And we won’t have to remember that each of them eventually comes out of a peak and having them all is a mission only within reach of pockets that don’t have too many holes. So the new Switch from the last Zelda it is, for the moment, a simple object of desire. Nothing more?
If you know clearly that you are not going to spend as much on a console as the one inspired by The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (comes out around 350 dollars) then It’s time to go find a more modest alternative and which can mislead a user who does not consider himself an expert. It is We are only interested in cheap alternatives that fool others by making them believe that we have in our possession one of these exclusive machines.
What can we do?
Well, once the original alternative of getting the new Nintendo console is out of the way, it’s time to go find an alternative online store. AND It has to do with what is called a blanket, which is nothing more than a series of custom plastic parts that sit on both the front and back and the Joy-Cons themselves. They are a little more spectacular but if we are willing to do whatever it takes to appear… they will serve us well.
So to not have to spend these 350 dollars we preferred to opt for a cheaper alternative, barely 26and which reproduces the colors and patterns of the new Zelda to transform our boring console into a practically collector’s item. As you can see in the images, the end result is not bad at all, with this gold-tinted front with the more than recognizable patterns of the new tears of the kingdom and an almost white back with pretty gold engravings.
In all, this is a five piece settwo for each Joy-Con and one for the rear of the Switch itself, where the plastic casing grips both the top and bottom of the screen, leaving space for the cartridge slot, microSD cards below and its own leg to maintain the functionality upright leave the console on the table.
A very successful look
It’s obvious that for 26 dollars we will not make our Switch adopt the same appearance than the official version of The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom but we are going to approach it very closely and without exaggerating the dimensions of the machine, including its controls. In addition, it is a material with a very good touch and, yes, we hope that the patterns are well printed on the pieces to prevent them from disappearing with time and use, leaving a mark of erasure rather poor.
But the important thing is that we will save around 324 dollars and we will have, at first sight, a clone of this Switch inspired by the new Zelda. No?
