How it works
As soon as we download Dawntrail Benchmark, we unzip the file and run the only file shown in the main folder ffxiv-dawntrail-bench.exe
Additionally, a link to purchase the game, start a free trial, licensing terms, etc. is also displayed. The button that interests us to do the benchmark is To start. By clicking on it, the application will start measuring the performance of our PC by displaying animations of the game.
To get the best score based on our hardware, you must first click on Settings and modify all the configuration options of our equipment and/or according to the way we want the game to be.
The configuration options are divided into 7 tabs. The first 4, Game Settings 1, 2, 3 and 4, allow you to change scaling, graphics settings, reflections, textures and much more, while the rest of the options focus on the configuring the operation of the application.

- 8,000 – 10,999: Offers high performance, slightly lower than the top option.
- 6,000 – 7,999: The game will run smoothly with the default settings and you can play by increasing the resolution a little.
- 4,000 – 5,999: Works fine with default settings and resolution.
