Over the years, users have become more and more demanding when it comes to components. We no longer want those old, boring white shoe boxes that say nothing. We are looking for solutions that meet our needs and, at the same time, look good.
We want them to have a thoughtful design, to offer good cooling, to have glass side panels and plenty of space, as well as good cable management. Many things that, combined wisely, can give great results like this Corsair box.
Introducing the new Corsair 3500X compact case
This new solution stands out for supporting any type of motherboard, from the compact Mini-ITX to the giant EATX. As if that were not enough, it adapts to the new reverse connector formats, such as the ASUS BTF motherboard. Eliminates front cabling, improving cable management and leaving a very neat aesthetic.
Not only should it support any motherboard, but it should also support other components. This chassis supports most of the large format graphics cards on the market. It also supports large format fans.
This chassis has space to house liquid cooling systems with radiators up to 360 mm on the top and side. In this way, we can better control the temperature of our processor.
To satisfy all tastes and needs, the Corsair 3500X will be available in black and white. In addition, for each color there are three possible variants, such as:
- iCUE LINK 3500X RGB: includes an iCUE Link hub and three RX120 RGB fans
- 3500X RGB: Included are three of the new RS120 RGB fans that can be controlled from the motherboard manufacturer’s software.
- 3500X: We can say that this is the basic version without extras, so that we can reuse our old fans.
Corsair says the launch of these new chassis will take place this quarter, but has not revealed how much these models will cost. We imagine that the most basic would cost around 120 dollars.
Also featured are the new Corsair RS Series fans
Alongside this new case, Corsair has announced the RS Series fans. These new fans are of the ring or chain type, allowing them to be connected together. Thanks to this mechanism, the need for hubs is eliminated and cable management is improved.
These fans offer us ARGB lighting, instead of the conventional RGB. The reason for using this new system is that it allows for better lighting management and greater precision.
Thanks to its daisy chain connection mechanism, they are all interconnected and only one connects to the 4-pin PWM port of the motherboard. They have a 5-volt ARGB connector to offer great dynamism. Simplifies installation, allowing synchronization of all fans and improves management.
What is interesting about the RS series is that when there is a low load, they switch to zero RPM mode. This stops the fans completely and, therefore, they do not generate any type of noise.
Corsair says the RS series will be available in black and white, as well as 120mm and 140mm sizes. They also say they will be sold individually and in packs, though nothing more is said about the latter option.
