It seems that, lately, monitors powered by Mini LED technology are (and will be if everything goes as it seems) on the agenda, and precisely to update its catalog with this technology, the manufacturer ViewSonic announced the launch of three new monitors, all within its ELITE Gaming product family which, as the name suggests, is focused on gamers. Then we tell you everything about these three new models.
In fact, the three monitors that ViewSonic presented are quite similar in terms of design (since they are part of the same product family), although it is true that they vary a lot both in format and in their specifications. techniques. Thus, we have models between 27 and 34 inches, with a “standard” 16:9 format and Ultra wide (21:9), and with different technologies which, as we noted in the title of this news, include the technology G-SYNC Ultimate from NVIDIA and there is even a model with no less than 300Hz refresh rate
Mini LED technology comes to ViewSonic ELITE monitors
All three models have, as we anticipated at the beginning, Mini LED technology, and this is in fact the main novelty. This has allowed the manufacturer to integrate panels with up to 1,152 independent lighting zones which, in addition, have local dimming technology throughout the matrix (called Full table local dimming, the FALD) to provide maximum contrast between the brightest whites and the darkest blacks. This allows gamers to enjoy optimized visual performance even in the most demanding games.
“In the gaming ecosystem, image quality is a fundamental aspect”.- said Oscar Lin, general manager of ViewSonic’s monitor division. “While gamers demand the best of the best in color accuracy and brightness, our ELITE Mini LED monitors exceed all expectations in today’s gaming scenarios, delivering an ideal solution and innovative technology.”
Among the three models, it should be noted that the ELITE XG272G-2K and the ELITE XG321UG incorporate the innovative technology NVIDIA SLR Analyzer, which allows you to measure and reduce the latency between the player clicking the mouse and its visible effect on the screen.
Let’s look at the three models.
