NVIDIA offers a sneak peek that can happen when you combine the world's most popular game with ray-tracing technology. Also, posted some tutorials that help the Mincrafters get acquainted with the game.
Minecraft's new world is the top creators
As we prepare for the launch of Minecraft and RTX, we've been working with some of the world's most talented creators from the Minecraft community.
The first results of this interaction are shown in a series of screenshots showing their excellent work. Screenshots show the world created by Razblue, BlockWorks, and GeminiTay (biographies below), a few of the creators chosen for their imagination and their excellent record as contributors to the Minecraft community.
The world includes:
- Temples and Totems RTX by Razzleberries – A world of adventure that focuses on players exploring and completing challenges in mysterious temples. Each template displays each pixel's inactivity and shadows in real time, and emits a global light to create immersive experience for game players.
- BlockWorks Imagination Island RTX – A completely invisible theme park, full of Easter eggs, spanning four different countries, each dedicated to a real-time tracking element. In this scene we see a visitor focused on the park, highlighted by the rays of God emitted in time by the windows, shining down.
- Crystal Palace RTX for GeminiTay – Survival map of a quirky fantasy theme depicting a well-built palace. The resulting shadows of lightning and beautiful nature make it a reality in this world built on a 1: 1 scale.
Tools and tutorials are powerful Minecraft Creators
NVIDIA has also poured a series of tools and guidelines that Mincrafic can use to create a more intuitive and life-changing world. Originally scheduled to be announced at our Silicon Valley card technology conference, these online tutorials are published as part of GTC Digital and include:
- Which builds on physics-based support – An introduction and guide on how to enter the details behind Minecraft with RTX tracking and PBR design and how they work to create great visuals. It involves a step-by-step process of creating your own PBR design and texture packages.
- Converting Java fields into RTX fields – NVIDIA partnered with the creators of Minecraft to come up with an unofficial guide to turn your world into a Bedrock Windows 10 Edition, which is basically the next Minecraft and RTX.
NVIDIA teams have worked hard, collaborating with Microsoft, to bring virtual worlds, displays, shadows, landscapes, landscapes, and other natural light effects to work in conjunction with physics-based texts used for Small Blocks. This PBR implementation allows for pixel-based outputs, volumetric effects, and other unprecedented ideas, coupled with the results of the way marker brings the next emergence of Minecraft.
Stay tuned for more details on Minecraft with RTX, forthcoming.
