Developed by the legendary Square Enix, the franchise has managed to stay at the top of the RPG genre for over two decades, which is a more than impressive feat. Although many of their deliveries are really good, only a few can earn the title of “best of all”.

So to celebrate, a new Dragon Quest was announced is that, once again with our friends at Metacritic, we have investigated what they are The bone Dragon Quest best rated. Small warning is that the first three tracks (which will be remastered very soon) do not have a score, so we will not include them. With that said, we can begin.
5. Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride
We open the list with one of the titles of the saga Dragon Quest this concerns more consoles. The story is one of those that has already become iconic in the world of the saga. We particularly highlight its playability, which was very good despite its few years of age. On Metacritic it has an 84. Not bad for fifth place.
4. Dragon Quest Builders 2
Have you ever wanted to bring the world together?Dragon Quest with gameplay like Minecraft? Well if that’s the case, then it’s your lucky day, because this title is for you. While this is an experience that no one asked for, that doesn’t mean it’s a very enjoyable video game. Its Metacritic rating is very good, 86.
3. Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Skarry Skies
This title was a first for the saga in many ways. To begin with, it was the first part of Dragon Quest which will be released on portable consoles, more particularly on the Nintendo DS. Additionally, one aspect of this title that stands out from the others is that it is by far the most complicated of all. On Metacritic it has a rating of 87.
2. Dragon Quest VIII: Journey to the Cursed King
This episode and the previous one made the 2000s a very good time to be a fan of Dragon Quest. According to fans, this title has one of the best stories in the entire franchise, and that’s saying something. Such a good game couldn’t have a bad score on Metacritic, and it does, since it has an 89.
1. Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Time
Although the saga has had some great games throughout its history, according to critics one of its most recent games is his best yet. Graphically, this is one of the best RPGs you can put your mouth on. Plus, your world seems more alive than ever. You have a metacritic score of 91.
