OnePlus’ next big launch event won’t take place until July 16, but the company has confirmed the four products that will be announced.
The Nord 4 smartphone, Pad 2 tablet, Watch 2R smartwatch and Nord Buds 3 Pro earbuds will all be unveiled at what’s shaping up to be a packed event in Milan.
As expected, the design and specifications of all the new products have not yet been revealed. But OnePlus has already confirmed a few key details.
First up is the Nord 4, the successor to 2023’s Nord 3, which remained one of our top 10 mid-range phones until recently.

OnePlus describes the Nord 4 as “the first all-metal smartphone of the 5G era,” hinting at a return to the metal unibody design we’ve seen on some 4G phones in the past.
The leaked specifications of Sanju Choudhary on the X suggest that the phone will feature a 6.74-inch 120Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor, and a 5,500mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging. If true, then three cameras are very likely: a 50MP primary, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 16MP selfie shooter.
The OnePlus Pad 2 will be the successor to the original Pad, which we described in our review as “a great tablet for entertainment, but not for serious work.” Will that change on the Pad 2, given that OnePlus describes it as “a new flagship productivity tablet”? Time will tell.

Meanwhile, OnePlus is calling the Watch 2R a “lightweight smartwatch running Wear OS,” suggesting it could be a more affordable version of the flagship OnePlus Watch 2 that isn’t as heavy. And “an affordable pair of earbuds” in the Nord Buds 3 Pro also seems to be targeting value for money.

OnePlus has said it will reveal more information about the new products “in the coming days,” so watch this space. In the meantime, check out our roundups of the best mid-range phones , best tablets , and best smartwatches to see what they’ll be up against.
