Halloween is over, but it seems many viewers still crave scary movies. Smile 2, the sequel to Parker Finn’s unexpectedly successful 2022 film, still reigns supreme at the box office, grossing $110 million worldwide as of press time.
The sequel tells the story of new characters, however, they are hunted by the same dark entity as in the original Smile. The cinema is the best place to experience the terrors of the film, but if you are curious to know when Smile 2 will be released in home media, keep reading our article.

Paramount Pictures, which distributes the horror film, has not revealed a date for the digital premiere. However, based on the releases of other successful Paramount films, we estimate that Smile 2 could appear digitally within a month or month and a half.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem and Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves were released digitally just 31 days after their theatrical debut. However, the sixth installment in the Scream franchise premiered on VOD after a month and a half.
A recent horror blast from Paramount, A Quiet Place: Day One, was released on VOD after less than a month, while the animated Transformers One was available for purchase and rental within a month.
Therefore, Smile 2 could be released on VOD around November 19, 2024 as soon as possible – but the broadcast can also take place at a given time. early December 2024.

There’s a good chance that Smile 2 will be released for streaming shortly after its VOD release.
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves and the previously mentioned Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem debuted on Paramount+ within 14 days and 18 days, respectively, since initial VOD. On the other hand, it took 28 days for A Quiet Place: Day One to be available for streaming.

Physical copies of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem were released 30 days after its streaming premiere. However, physical copies of Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves were released just two weeks after its debut on Paramount+.
