More than a year has passed since Capcom brought us the eighth installment in what has become the saga of survival horror par excellence, resident Evil. In this new title, those responsible may have outdone themselves, delivering a game with a superb technical section, at least if you have been enjoying it on consoles since if you’re a dedicated PC gamer, let’s just say you’re not so lucky.
Resident Evil VIII misbehaves
Although at first they looked like some crazy people who thought there was a catastrophic failure in the game, nothing could be further from the truth, since Capcom recently admitted that by accident they introduced a Thumbtack in the version sold on Steam Resident Evil Village which was sneaked without asking permission via the latest patch released in the Valve store.
This isn’t the first time the franchise has fallen prey to Bugs. so many resident evil 5 as Resident Evil 6, to be exact, they also caused similar errors on Steam, rendering parts of each of them completely unplayable. Errors where enemies stopped spawning at a full block to continue the story or fall into the void beyond the map
In Resident Evil Village the thing has to do with a problem that crashes the game and It suddenly and without notice sends us back to the home screenwhich prevents Steam users from playing the game without having to worry about the game exploding.
To all Resident Evil Village Steam players:
We are aware of an ongoing issue with the latest patch that is causing the game to crash for some users. We are currently researching a fix and apologize for the inconvenience!

Capcom apologizes and promises to fix
Last Monday (as you can see just above) Capcom, via the official Twitter account of resident Eviladdressed all Steam players and took the opportunity to apologize and something else:
“To all the players of resident Evil on Steam: We are aware of a bug with the new patch that crashes the game for some users. We are currently researching a solution to resolve this issue and apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Although at the moment we have not received a date when this error will be corrected, it is certain that we will not have to wait too long since, as you certainly know, the game will receive new content in just over a week it is therefore practically an obligation that Capcom first corrects this small problem within Steam. Otherwise, we risk that by adding additional content the bomb and the problem will become much more virulent and affect more and more users.
The problem is all the more serious now that Resident Evil Village it is not sold for pc in any other digital store. Neither GoG nor the Epic Games Store have versions available, so the error that Capcom needs to fix fully impacts 100% of those who use their computers to enjoy one of the best survival horror that we have ever seen. So if you are one of those who have seen how the game was interrupted, pay attention to Capcom’s social networks, but especially to the updates from the Valve store, to install the update as soon as possible to all game files.
And you? Have you had the misfortune to cross paths with this Thumbtack of Resident Evil Village?
