Our verdict
The Roborock Flexi Pro is a combined vacuum and mop that cleans wonderfully. It is easy to use and allows you to go (almost) anywhere with it. As a complement to a classic vacuum cleaner or a robot vacuum cleaner, it works well, but its price is quite high.

It’s actually misleading to call the Roborock Flexi Pro a stick vacuum. It vacuums, but it’s primarily a mop, and its mopping function can’t be turned off. For more models like this, check out our picks for the best wet vacuums.
This means that the Roborock Flexi Pro isn’t very useful in homes with lots of carpet, but it’s great for homes with lots of floors that can be wet-mopped. It also means that there aren’t any extra nozzles included in the package for vacuuming sofas and other furniture.

To use the Roborock Flexi Pro, fill the clean water tank located in the handle with water. After mopping or vacuuming, the dirty water is transferred to the dirty water tank, also located in the handle.
Design and construction
Filling and emptying these containers is simple and convenient, but unfortunately, none of them hold much water (the clean water container holds 0.73 liters, the dirty water container 0.45 liters). In other words, they need to be filled/emptied frequently.
The problem is further complicated by the fact that it is very difficult to see the amount of water from the outside. The clean water tank is completely opaque, so you have to open it to see how much water is left. The dirty water tank at the back, although transparent, is made of dark smoked plastic. In practice, it is therefore almost impossible to see the water level there without removing it.
Roborock Flexi Pro cleans and vacuums at the same time.

Features and Performance
Aside from the drawbacks of the water tanks, the Roborock Flexi Pro is very easy to use. As the name suggests, it is very flexible and easily fits under cabinets and low furniture. It also allows very easy and tight access to moldings and walls.
It has three different modes (Eco, Auto and Max) that you can select quickly and easily via the display on the handle. You can also fine-tune the settings of these in the associated app to change, for example, the suction power and water volume.
In the app, you can also change the mop’s self-cleaning settings (water temperature, drying time, etc.). It can be programmed to run automatically when the Roborock Flexi Pro is placed in the charging station, but it’s quite noisy. Fortunately, it can also be programmed to run when you’re not at home.
However, this self-cleaning doesn’t work 100%, so expect to have to detach the mop roller and clean it manually at regular intervals.
It is easy to use even under low furniture.

Pricing and Availability
The Flexi Pro had an introductory price of $499.99, but is now available in the US from Roborock and Amazon for $399.99. At the time of writing, it is not on sale in the UK.
Even with the post-launch discount, it’s still pretty pricey, and you can find models that do a lot more, like the Bissell Crosswave HydoSteam Pet, for the same amount of money, and models with a similar feature set for much less, like the Tineco iFloor 5. You can see all of our top recommendations in our roundup of the best wet vacuums we’ve tested.
Should you buy the Flexi Pro?
Roborock’s Flexi Pro isn’t just easy to use, it cleans brilliantly too. The auto setting that detects the level of dirt on the floor and adjusts cleaning accordingly works surprisingly well, but if you’re having particularly tough spots, it’s also quick and easy to switch to Max mode.
And it doesn’t matter if it’s dry or wet dirt, the Roborock Flexi Pro can handle both with flying colors. But like I said, expect to have to clean the mop roller manually if you’re cleaning up a mess that’s too sticky.
As a complement to a conventional vacuum cleaner or a robot vacuum cleaner, the Roborock Flexi Pro is ideal. During the test period, it proved particularly useful in the kitchen, where there is a lot of dirt and spills and a robot vacuum cleaner has difficulty getting under the edges of the cupboards.
