The year 2023 has undoubtedly been rich in real great games that remind us why we love this medium and everything around it. However, this does not mean that, on the contrary, other titles have also been released that we wish to never see again, because they are really bad. Lousy. Unplayable. Bored. Consumable. Absurdities. Unfinished.
Although desktop consoles continue to be the main support for gamers, the PC has gradually made its way, until it has a significant presence that pushes many major studios to release their games on this support, although some do not. are. real bullshit. But which are the worst? Do you think we can trust any rating or criteria of any website?
PC games we wouldn’t want to have
Once again, hand in hand with scholars from Metacritic, we took it upon ourselves to search for the top 5 worst PC games released in 2023 according to average scores which, as we always say, are not 100% reliable, but serve to spot a trend. So there you have it. Here we leave you the worst of the year in IT…
5. The Sherwood Gangs
We start our list with this game which only has a score of 48, quite low. Although the promise of immersing players in the intriguing world of Robin Hood had a lot of potential to be amazing, Clumsy controls and very boring story made this game a monotonous experience. Moreover, this is without commenting on all the bugs it contains.
4. Testament: The Order of the High Human
Will It had a premise that generated high expectations before its release. However, What ended up being a very repetitive and boring game with a confusing story, nay, sequel, and graphics that, while they weren’t horrible, weren’t bad either.. It can only hope to have a 41 rating on Metacritic.
3. The Lord of the Rings: Gollum
To talk about this game is to talk about a disaster in every sense of the word. While the world Tolkien created lends itself perfectly to the world of video games, the title featuring everyone’s favorite Herald of the Ring turned out horrible
2. Greyhill Incident
More than an incident, this game looks like an accident (beware of the joke). Taking one of the most notorious cases in the UFO world as a starting point, this game could have been good. However, nothing could be further from the truth since it’s neither scary, nor has good controls, nor anything at all. That it has a 38 on Metacritic seems too high to us.
1. Flashback 2
With a score of 35 and crowned worst PC game of the year, Flashback 2 attempted to capitalize on nostalgia for its famous predecessor, but it in no way managed to capture the original magic. The graphics, although improved, could not compensate for the poor quality and repetitiveness of the game. We strongly advise against approaching this game even with a stick.
