We are often asked “what is the best graphics card on the market?”and it’s a rather complicated question to answer, since you usually have to ask yourself an additional question…”what are you going to use it for?“. Despite this, and always bearing in mind that for these things it is imperative to always give a subjective opinion, in this article we are going to tell you what is, for us, the best graphics card of 2022 in terms of relationship price quality.
It is clear that an RTX 3090 Ti is objectively better than an RTX 3070, and yet it is also undeniable that an RTX 3090 Ti for gaming in Full HD resolution would be like killing flies with gunfire, and that is the reason why we ask the question “what are you going to use it for” when they ask us the best graphics cards
The best performance/price graphics of 2022
As always, we must first clarify again that what we are going to tell you next is our subjective opinion, based in this case on our own experience. This means that there will be many people who will agree with our reasoning but also many who will not, and who will say that another model or technology from another manufacturer is better (we all know the eternal AMD vs NVIDIA debate, right?). For this reason, and again, let it be clear that this is our personal opinion based on our experience.
That said, from our point of view the best graphics card of 2022 in terms of quality/performance/price is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050although we must admit that we hesitated between this or the AMD Radeon RX6600. In both cases, we are dealing with graphics cards with a relatively affordable price (both currently revolve around the 300-350 dollars depending on the store and the exact model), and for that money they turned out to be more than worthy graphics to be able to play at maximum resolution Full-HD and even the 1440p in many games (in fact, relaxing the graphics settings is fine for that).
When we tested the RTX 3050 for ourselves, and although it was with a custom model from Gigabyte (the one you can see in the photo above), it clearly told us that we were dealing with a graphics card very reliable in any type of game, offering a outstanding performance
After all, why invest 800$ in a much more powerful graphics card if in the end what you are looking for is to play in 1080p? Another thing is that you already want to play at higher resolutions or higher refresh rates (which are now very fashionable 360Hz monitors), but even so it would be perfectly worth adjusting a bit the graphics.
In short, if what you’re looking for is a decently priced graphics card that gives you great performance for gaming, the NVIDIA RTX 3050 and AMD RX 6600 won’t disappoint, and they’ll be a great return for the money invested.
