When could The Fall Guy be released on VOD?
The Fall Guy is distributed by Universal Pictures. This studio usually releases its films digitally first, but there is no information yet on when The Fall Guy might arrive on VOD platforms.
Universal films are typically available for rental or purchase between three and seven weeks after theatrical release, depending on box office performance.
Resounding hits like The Super Mario Bros. Movie and M3GAN were released on VOD six and seven weeks respectively after their cinema debut. On the other hand, The Last Voyage of Demeter and Argylle were massive failures and were released digitally three and four weeks respectively after their big screen releases.
Considering that The Fall Guy underperformed at the box office, we believe it will appear on VOD platforms sooner rather than later. The film may therefore be available for rental and purchase from June 2024.

When could The Fall Guy be released on DVD/Blu-ray?
Typically, physical copies of Universal Pictures films can be purchased within a month or two of their release on VOD.
So, if our estimated VOD premiere date is correct, The Fall Guy could be released on DVD and Blu-ray in mid-July 2024.
When could The Fall Guy be released on streaming services?
Many Universal films are released for streaming about a month or month and a half after their release on DVD and Blu-ray. A significant exception, however, was the aforementioned The Last Voyage of Demeter, which became available for streaming four months after physical copies were released.
As with most Universal films, The Fall Guy will surely be released on Peacock. We estimate this could happen in late August/early September 2024.
This date is for the US – it’s harder to know when Fall Guy will hit streaming platforms in the UK. If it follows the same pattern as the Mario movie, it will likely come to Sky Cinema and Now TV, but this is unconfirmed.
