The Honor MagicBook Pro arrives in Europe at Ryzen 5 4600H

Respect revealed today at IFA that MagicBook Pro – already sold in China – is being launched worldwide. It will be released along with updated versions of MagicBook 14 and 15.

As the name implies, MagicBook Pro has the most powerful specs than any other book we’ve seen from Honor so far. In part it’s just a matter of size – it has a 16.1-inch screen, mounted on a 15-inch chassis – but also a Ryzen 5 4600H processor in its heart.

It is one of AMD’s most powerful laptop processors, and it should make it a very efficient operation.

This is the only chipset item available, unlike in China where the Ryzen 7 4800H version is sold. It will be paired with 16GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB SSD, but it is important to know that there is no separate GPU option.

The IPS screen is limited to high definition, and although it includes 100% sRGB, in our rating (see our full review of MagicBook Pro for more details) it has achieved 76% DCI-P3 input.

Add to that the refreshing 60Hz rating and the lack of Thunderbolt ports and we have a laptop that, despite its size, seems unlikely to convince many creators or critical gamers, except for those on a budget. .

In addition, it has a USB-C charging port, three USB-A 3.2 ports, HDMI 2.0, and a headphone jack. The MagicBook Pro also has the icon of the Honor and Huawei hidden webcam – a bonus of great bezels, but it is a disaster for anyone who makes a lot of video beats, due to the unpopular camera.

At the same time, revised editions of Honors 14 and 15 magical books are being published. There aren’t too many variations on these devices – the slim and portable design stays the same, as it does with 65W fast charging technology, long battery life of 10.5 hours and a fingerprint power button.

The biggest change is the process. Both laptops upgrade to AMD’s Ryzen 5 4500U from Ryzen 5 3500U, which should increase performance by about 15%. Both will be shipped with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. We were big fans of the first edition of Honor MagicBook 14, so the specific review is very welcome.

MagicBook Pro will launch in the UK from September 7, with a wider European price of 899 euros, although we are still waiting to find out what the British pounds will be.

MagicBook 14 will arrive shortly, on September 21, for the price of 749 euros, while the 15-inch model will be launched in October for the price of 699 euros.

The new MagicBook models come alongside the UK launch of the Pad 6 and Pad X6, as well as new clothing items on the Watch GS Pro and Watch ES.
