All the presentations that have taken place in recent months have shown us the ability of large companies to develop new technologies, and although we do not yet know all the details of these novelties, we know enough to eagerly await their release. In the end, all the leaks of all the great products of the main brands on the market have taught us what we can expect, and the truth is that they can even surprise us.
New AMD and Intel processors among the most anticipated
Starting with the component that will catch our attention the most among all those that will be launched, there are the new processors so many AMD as Intelwhich bring excellent news mainly related to the use of the AIsince both companies have indicated that their CPUs will integrate the modules necessary for this use.
At first, Intel may draw more attention to us for the simple fact that lately its products are not really new or have undergone very big changes, while AMD has focused on offering power and performance.
This is why Intel’s decision to try to secure an emerging market as large as artificial intelligence could be really striking, because in terms of overall per formance, AMD is currently leading, but it is possible that Intel could surpass its competitor in some aspect.
For its part, AMD will seek to expand its range of 3D V-Cache processors with the new Zen 5 architecture, also offering new CPUs that will aim, as the company indicated from the beginning, to “attack all ranges by offering variants” of all types of prices and power.
If we talk about processors, we can’t leave motherboards aside either.
It is clear that processors do not work if we do not have space to put them, and another of the great novelties that will arrive from the CPUs will be the motherboards that will support all these processors, which will arrive with great novelties. On the side of the motherboards for Intel’s Arrow Lake processors, we will be able to see how the socket they will use will change, going from LGA1700 to LGA 1851, which they say will last at least until 2026.
And considering the sockets, we can’t leave AMD behind, since its new Zen 5 architecture will arrive with the AM5 socket, which we already know to support some of the company’s most powerful current processors, such as the Ryzen 7 7800x3D. We hope that with the arrival of the new processors, practically all new motherboards will use DDR5 RAM, since all these processors will supposedly be designed to integrate this latest generation memory.
Graphics cards aren’t far behind
Among the PC hardware that will be released this year, it is clear that we must not forget that which is essential in the latest generation of computers, especially those intended for game
And the new NVIDIA graphics will arrive with an architecture that will seek to surpass the previous one, but it will not represent as big a change as the jump from the RTX 30 to the RTX 40, but still, they will have a more limited stock and a much higher price, which can make them much less affordable than they are currently.
For this reason, its rival company wanted to propose its launch in a different way, namely that AMD’s 8000 series graphics will arrive with much higher power due to the change of architecture from RDNA 3 to RDNA 4, but unlike its main competitor, they will not seek to take the power to another level, but will focus more on allowing consumers to buy them at a more affordable price.
