Meta bought the virtual reality device company Oculus VR (created by John Carmak who we don’t all know from the company ID Software, creator of DOOM, Wolfenstein and others). With Carmak’s separation from the company, the company launched the Meta Quest eyewear line, a line of eyewear currently available in two versions: Meta Quest 3 Yes Meta Quest 3S with very different prices. While the Meta Quest 3 has a price of 549 dollars, the Meta Quest 3S only costs 329 dollars.
