They create a PC that brews your coffee…literally (it has a coffee maker inside)

Brews, coffee, coffee...literally, create, Maker

The Internet is a place where we can find a large number of projects that at first glance may seem a little strange, but once we see them they can even be impressive due to the dedication and complexity that they can have. One of those that has caught our attention currently is the design of the chassis of a computer which they created from the Nerdforge YouTube channel, which includes a Coffee machine in his PC.

Chassis modifications computer are not new, given that many modders They get to work creating the weirdest customizations you’ll ever see, whether it’s with themes from video games or series, or with technologies that really shouldn’t be present in a computer. In this case, it would rather be the second option, since they have integrated a Coffee machine complete in a computer.

PC with coffee maker included

This computer is not only a beast, it also makes coffee

When it comes to seeing a design like this, it’s normal to first wonder if it’s a PC completely functional, and in this case, indeed, it is a computer which is not only perfectly functional, but includes state-of-the-art components. And without going into too much detail, this system integrates an i7-14700K processor as well as an NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti graphics card, but the focus is not on these components, but on the transformation they have carried out on the Corsair 1000D box.

To begin with, this chassis, as we well know, is extremely spacious, being one of the best refrigerated boxes on the market, and at the same time allowing us to incorporate practically anything we want inside, knowing that It measures 307mm wide, 693mm long and 697mm high. This obviously allows a great capacity for maneuvering inside the box, and in this case the Coffee machine (with custom coffee grinding and roasting system) that they integrated from the Nerdforge channel fits perfectly.

This system incorporates an Arduino which allows you to control the Coffee machine in general, control and synchronize unit schedules. The Arduino is also connected to sensors that ensure a coffee cup is placed under the Coffee machine before allowing the distribution of a liquid.

From their channel they explain that it was not a simple construction, since it took them more than a month to create it, but they also indicate that it is definitely worth it, because it is not only an extremely useful creation, but also fun.

How does this affect cooling?

Among the problems that one can imagine when incorporating a system of this type into a computerit is clear that one of them is refrigeration, knowing that the coffee itself is heated inside the computer, we can think that this could affect the temperature of the box. But this doesn’t really seem to be a problem, since the system is designed to create a reverse airflow, different from what you might find in a computer ordinary.

This really doesn’t have any major complications, the difference is that the fans are located such that instead of drawing heat away from the back of the computer, they do so from the front, pushing all the heat away. heat which can be generated both by the Coffee machine as the components towards the outside. Add to that the fact that the box already has exceptional airflow, and you just need to know how this machine will perform in the face of other problems, such as dust accumulation.
