This processor was released in November 2020 and even today it is still very good. Something we must also take into account that it comes with a heatsink, so we save money on this element. Also, keep in mind that this processor does not include graphics, so if the graphics card fails we will not be able to use the equipment.
Placa Base: Gigabyte B550M Aorus Elite
It’s not a demanding processor, it’s very good, but it requires a huge motherboard. Of all the options available, this Gigabyte solution caught our attention. It’s a micro ATX motherboarda format a little more compact than the ATX format, more than enough for any configuration.
This motherboard offers us four slots of DDR4 c RAM memoryon the bracket for a maximum of 128 GB. It has PCIe x16 back slotsone of them PCIe 4.0. In addition, it has a PCIe 3.0 slot and rear M.2 socket for SSDs, being the first of the PCIe 4.0 type connected directly from the processor.
It has very good connectivity, with one PS/2, four USB 3.2 Gen1, four USB 2.0 and an RJ-45 connector for the Internet. It also incorporates video connectors, being one HDMI and one DVI-D.
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200 16GB
The motherboard does not have RGB and we wanted to continue with the dynamics of a fairly discreet system. Note that according to Steam, the vast majority uses 16 GB of RAM. We chose this Corsair Vengeance LPX kit
About this kit, we are talking about two modules of DDR4 RAM memory 8 GB each, so they add up 16 GB. They have a very good quality aluminum heatsink designed to keep the memories well cooled and get the maximum performance possible. Work this memory kit to a Frequency 3200MHz and has a CL16 latency.
We would like to point out that at PcComponentes this kit is worth less than 50 dollars and is (at the time of writing) for less than 45 dollars
Graphics: ASUS TUF Gaming GTX 1650
Surprisingly, a few months ago, the graphics card most used by Steam users became the NVIDIA GTX 1650. Also, many users are losing interest in Ray Tracing and DLSS technology, elements not supported by the GTX 1650. We focused on this ASUS model, because it is very compact and of very good quality.
What does this graph tell us? Well it has a total of 896 CUDA colors and as we said, it does not support Ray Tracing and DLSS. This graphics card does not have RT cores and Tensor cores to support the mentioned technologies.
Does this graphics card work at Frequency 1635MHz and can arrive in mode Boost up to 1665 MHz. It is completed by 4 GB of GDDR6 memorywhich for recent and demanding games, may be fair enough, to be realistic.
Note that this graphics card has an HDMI 2.0b, a DisplayPort 1.4a and a DVI-D. It’s not much, said like that and compared to the latest models, but it has a lot to say and it’s more than enough to play in 1080p.
Storage: Crucial P3 1TB
We continue, now moving on to storage. Although specs aren’t stated, Steam tells us that the usual thing is to have a 1TB SSD. We’ve opted for that crucial unitwhich we really like for its price and because it’s a division of Micron, one of the leading memory manufacturers on the market.
This unit is based on M.2 format and is based on the interface PCIe 3.0, it’s great This unit offers us a speed of read up to 3500 MB/s and an write up to 3000 MB/s. We could opt for a PCIe 4.0 drive, but that makes the system more expensive and we won’t notice the improvement.
A little more to say, it doesn’t have any kind of special feature or striking feature.
Power Supply: Corsair CV650 650W 80 Plus Bronze
For the system to work, we are going to need a power supply and it must be of a certain quality. Power supplies can last a long time, so it is always interesting to size them taking into account the constant increase in the consumption of the material. One of the best manufacturers of these components is Corsair and we have reviewed their products.
The food we have chosen has a Power 650W, more than enough for the whole. This is characterized by having a 80 PLUS Bronze Certified, which guarantees us an efficiency of up to 88% with a load of 50%. It is completed by a 120 mm fan with 0dB technologyto avoid discomfort when the load is low.
It should be noted that this power supply is not modular, something that always complicates the task a little. The acquisition of a modular power supply makes the product more expensive and in itself it is not an economical product.
Torre: Nfortec Azir Black
For this component, we based ourselves on the simple premise that it has a front that allows a great flow of air. Of all the options, by design this box of Nfortec. It has a tempered glass side and a front with a 3D effect design which allows a large air flow.
We are talking about a box of 0.6mm SPCC maple, which is usually standard in gaming towers. This material with this thickness guarantees great resistance and durability. It has a tempered glass side window, to see the interior of our installation.
has space frontal for three Fans of 120/140mm, Two 120/140mm can fit in the back and room for a 120mm in the back, which is included. Offers space for two 2.5″ SSDs and a 3.5″/2.5″ drive bay system, as desired. It also stands out for its cover that hides the power supply, which is perfect since the one chosen is not modular.
Finally, note that on the front panel we have two USB 2.0 ports and one USB 3.0 port, as well as a headphone jack.
Monitor: LG 27MP60G-B 27″
This product is completely optional, because if you have a 1080p monitor, you’re still not interested in changing it. We wanted to find a monitor gaming for said resolution and we really liked it LG. It’s a fairly large monitor, with gaming-focused features and tech.
What stands out about this monitor is its size and is that we have a 27 inch monitor with IPS panel. This monitor, as we said, has a 1080p resolution and offers us a refresh rate up to 75Hz and a response time of 5 ms. We are talking about an economical solution that is far from other premium solutions.
Does this monitor have AMD FreeSync Technology, to deliver a sharp image without cutouts and other issues. Regarding connectivity, it has an HDMI 1.4 and a VGA. Lazy, but for the price and focused on gaming, it’s hard to beat.
