$349.99
Ugreen is a respected manufacturer of premium accessories including chargers and hubs, and its latest USB-C docking station delivers the same quality, precision and speed.
A fully featured dock is at the heart of a charger that also offers multiple port expansions, so Ugreen should deliver the goods, and it does so with its 12-port USB-C dock.
It sets itself apart from many USB-C docks with its three display ports, all of which can be used with Windows laptops and MacBooks, even with the M1 and M2 models which are otherwise limited to a single display external.
Update: We updated this review in January 2024 after Ugreen added a 100W charger to the package and renamed the dock. Otherwise, all tests remain the same.

IDG/Foundry
The Ugreen Revodok Pro 312 USB-C Triple Display Dock comes with a Ugreen 100W 2-port wall charger. The dock itself requires 15W of power, hence the need for a 100W PD to achieve 85W.
You can also use a desktop charger. There are plenty with 100W PD ports, and the additional USB charging ports will make up for the fact that this dock’s USB ports are only for data transfer.
We’ve rounded up the best USB-C chargers and the best USB-C chargers for Mac if you want to add a new one other than the charger that came with your laptop.
Displays
One of the HDMI ports and the DisplayPort support 4K at 60 Hz (Mac and Windows) and the second HDMI can push up to 8K at 30 Hz on Windows and up to 4K at 60 Hz with a Mac. The HDMI 2.1 port can reach 60Hz at less than 8K, for example 4K, 5K or 6K.
Thanks to HDMI and DisplayPort ports, you can connect three displays simultaneously.
With the exception of the MacBook Pro M1/2/3 Max, Macs do not natively support three external displays because they do not support MST (Multi-Stream). Worse yet, the simple (non-Pro or Max) M1, M2 and M3 MacBooks are limited to a single external display.
As I explained in my How to Connect Multiple Displays to a Mac M1/M2 tutorial, there is a software workaround, which involves installing DisplayLink software. This simple fix allows all Macs to support up to three external displays, so the full functionality of the Ugreen USB-C Triple Display Dock is open to everyone.
Like other triple display dock makers, Ugreen could make it easier for Mac users by including the link to DisplayLink software.

USB Ports
Besides the rear-mounted USB-C port that charges the dock, there’s another upstream USB-C port that connects to the computer (and can charge it in turn).
There are also front-mounted USB-C and USB-A ports that can transfer data at 10Gbps, which is faster than what’s offered on many USB-C docks.
On the back, there are two slower but still reasonable 5Gbps USB-A ports.
It’s worth noting that none of these USB ports, except the USB-C upstream to the laptop, can charge connected devices, which is a notable limitation given that most docks Docking stations offer charging of certain devices from their USB ports.
Other ports
Next to these is a Gigabit Ethernet port for fast and stable wired Internet access.
On the front of the dock are two card reader slots: one full SD and the other TF (also known as microSD). This is UHS-I, offering 104MB/s data transfer. Many docking stations offer faster 312Mbps UHS-II card readers, so if this is important to you, consider a station alternative reception; Check out our roundup of the best USB-C docking stations.
Finally, there is a 3.5mm audio jack for speakers or microphone.

Design
The Ugreen USB-C Triple Display Dock is a vertical docking station with a very compact shape for its ports (11 downstream, 1 upstream and 1 for charging the dock).
Its space gray color will complement darker laptops and it won’t stand out on your desk, hidden in the shadows.
We like that the power and upstream ports are placed at the rear, with the front ports all thoughtfully selected.
We also like the power button on the top of the dock, which allows the user to turn off power to the connected laptop when not in use overnight, helping to maintain the health of the laptop battery.
A subtle light under the black top of the dock is displayed when the dock is powered and connected to a laptop.
Price
The Ugreen USB-C Triple Display Dock costs $329.99 in the US, £399.99 in the UK, and $349.99 CAD in Canada. Before you buy, check out the link here to Amazon and click on the Ugreen store, which sometimes has decent discounts.
This price is a bit higher than similar premium USB-C docks, and the UK price is particularly high. Read our roundup of the best USB-C docking stations for laptops. If your laptop has a 40Gbps connection, you might consider one of the best Thunderbolt 4 laptop docks.
Unless you’re using your laptop’s USB-C charger to power the dock, you’ll need to invest in a new dock because this dock doesn’t come with its own power supply.
Verdict
With three video ports, the Ugreen Revodok Pro 312 USB-C Triple Monitor Dock is a great choice if you need multiple monitors.
We would have preferred an independent power supply or a USB-C PD 3.1 input that would allow up to 240W to the dock, plus device charging from the USB ports, but the included 100W charger provides what you need to charge 85W PD laptop.
This dock is compact, well-designed, and worked wonderfully when we tested it with three external displays, even on an M2 MacBook Pro.
