LG's smartphone launch strategy has looked confusing lately. We say this because their calls often do not follow a consistent pattern or launch cycle that allows us to send complaints.
We say this because the new V60 is a pretty good phone. We love it for important features such as its personality and differentiation from its Samsung Samsung S20 or OnePlus 8 Pro partners. These calls point to different end goals.
If we accept that the V60 is a unique and beautiful tool, then on paper, other phones might be better. The bottom line is that the V60 allows you to do things you can't find elsewhere.
V60 battery life, intelligent camera controls, and audio in cable mode are some of the features where the LG terminal surpasses the other bystander product suggestion.

But it is a price that you have to be willing to pay to be able to operate in a comfortable and flexible manner. To charge the phone when it's in position, LG includes an electric adapter that should lose both power.
With this addition, we add the same 1080p screen that doubles the size of the V60 screen and have a false notch to keep the display content intact.

LG Camera app goes into recorded mode. This is not a phone I would recommend for people looking for the best auto mode, but it's great if you know what you're doing with the shooting modes it offers.
The same goes for the recorded video: The V60 can record 8K quality, although I managed to say which is the best. We didn't have a consistent display at the time of the test, so we can't confirm the results.

In short, the picture results you'll find on this V60 are behind the Google series and Huawei P and Mate series. There will be those who like the more sensible color paint provided by LG, compared to the over-saturations that Samsung offers.
Android and user experience
The UX 9.0 layer that LG is running on Android 10 on its V60 is undoubtedly the best made by the company so far, or this will prevent you from using updates in the short term.
It offers a nice, little difference to the original models sent by Google and OnePlus, however some skeptics might tell you. However, the app drawer remains fragile.
When you install new downloaded programs, simply join them at the end of the list. No other developer of the popular Android app behaves like this, and it's amazing how LG maintains a high-end model like the V60.
Surprisingly, the user interface won't allow you to change screen brightness when set to default mode. If the auto brightness is properly calibrated it may not matter, but it is very aggressive so we have had to turn it off and turn it on manually.
And we don't have a facial feature by any means, which is a bad practice in the 2020 Flagship.
Price and availability
LG officially sells this phone in the US. USA, at least for now. And it's just US carriers AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile. The price the company has set for the V60 ThinQ 5G is $ 799.
If you choose to buy it with a dual screen add-on, the price goes up to $ 899. So, even if you do choose to buy it, you will have discounted prices much lower than the mark of major brands, such as OnePlus, Samsung or Huawei.
You can't buy it currently. Hopefully this will change over time, but for now, this successful call has hampered its availability.
The decision
The LG V60 has been one of the favorite phones of the last two years. It's great, but the way it should be able to combine the use of a single screen, or to double it when you need it, is commendable.
With outstanding battery life, great sound, and a cheap screen case, you'll be delighted with its variety of modes and uses. I also don't think the 1080p 60Hz screen is as bad as it doesn't affect the battery usage.
