As many of you already know, the company did the first job of the Spanish market with the European market, at the end of last year, event in Madrid, when its management introduced Realme 3 Pro and Realme X2 with Realme X2 Pro.
Months later, its catalog of models did nothing but grow at an astonishing rate, until May 5 the brand would unveil new models in the European market, among which is the Realme 6 Pro.
This phone is already imported to China, which we have agreed to buy in advance to give you a complete analysis now. Next, we give you our analysis of what a star product might be.
Design and quality
Realme 6 Pro is an attractive online design for a price range, especially when compared to others in the market such as the Moto G8 Power.
Its front part is not surprising, playing a panel with oversized glass, giving it a deadly stiffness. A double cleared hole for selfie screens on the upper left side eliminates the use of a regular drop of water.
There are no curved front or back edges. Instead, the 6 Pro screen seems to come out of the body, leaving a look similar to what we'd see on Xiaomi Redmi models, or as when installing a glass protector on your phone's screen.
After the 6 Pro itself is quite impressive, it means that you have in your hands a wider premium phone range (though it doesn't exist), eliminating the unique glass from which the light emits as a ray. It's an exciting impact to see.
This finish can be achieved with two different configurations, one on Lightning blue, and on the other on orange. Both backs are protected by Gorilla Glass 5 to ensure resistance, though this will not prevent accidental falls from the stairs that break our backs.
By way of a connection, it maintains a USB C port and 3.5mm headphone jack, as well as a fingerprint sensor built into the phone's power problem.
Confirmed: 90 Hz display
One of the best features of the Realme 6 Pro is the 90Hz display. Of course, it's not a specific feature of the Pro model, because even the standard (cheap) Rext 6 is also speculating.
There's no doubt that having a 90 Hz screen, a Realme bet from its previous models, is surprisingly fun for such a cheap range of smartphones.
The high rate of refresh rate was exclusive to the high-end Smart's at the moment, so it's good to see that Flagship's democratizing technology to reduce the phone's expensive distances.
For those of you who don't know what this means for everyday use, the 90Hz refresh rate offers a fast, smooth and responsive viewing experience, whether you're on Twitter or playing mobile games.
Noteworthy changes from the standard 60 Hz, which are still available on some Flagship models such as the iPhone 11 Pro or IPhone SE 2020Though it is something you have to experience with your eyes.
Inside the settings we can always adjust it between 60 or 90 Hz, to save a lot of battery, though we can also allow the phone to automatically adjust the refresh rate depending on the app used.
Aside from this important feature, you'll find that the IPS LCD light screen reaches 6.5 inches, with a feature rating of 90.5%. Surprisingly, Realme prefers to keep the same size again in a standard model.
They share the same Full HD + resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, even though the pixel density of the standard Realme 6 is much lower. This doesn't affect day to day, but it does ensure that a larger screen is not always the best option.
Camera set
Another obvious reason why you should choose the Realme 6 Pro is because of its cameras, they are certainly very versatile and cover all the Ultra wide angle and macro images.
In the background, you have a set of four cameras, and if that wasn't enough, you have a 12MP primary camera that is shot on the other side of the 8MP wide range.
On paper, there are many types of images that you can cover with Realme 6 Pro cameras, and of course, you have more variety than a mobile phone that goes at this price point.
The 64 MP primary sensor and the f / 1.8 integral sensor produce good results in its range, using pixel grouping technology that improves image detail when produced at 12 MP.
The colors are very bright and vivid, with good detail levels in both well-lit and low settings, even though the sound levels increase as the brightness level is.
However, it works well and you'll get great results from a point-and-shoot simple, with many novice users in mind. The 8 MP wide angle angle works just like the primary lens in well-lit conditions.
However, we cannot say the same when dealing with dark areas, whose height is f / 2.3.
The telephoto lens is 12 MP and its 2x range is impressive; While images captured by light lenses on budget smartphones tend to be slower, Realme 6 Pro holds up well most of the time, even if you don't try to use it at low light.
A 2 MP macro camera with f / 2.4 focus feels like something new here. Some brands prefer to include a larger angle or macro, but not both as if Realme is able to deliver this series 6.
However, does anyone really care about macro photography, or is it just a marketing tactic for manufacturers to add the number of cameras installed on their mobile phone?
The performance of the Realme 6 Pro shows this, that it should be less than 4 cm from the study, doubled by the macro lenses between Motorola and Oppo, by promoting that the final images are less bright than the ones we are.
Without the fastest way to get a macro lens through the camera app interface, it seems that Realme wants you to take full advantage of other cameras, this is where you'll get the highest quality of images.
Other shooting modes include Normal, Portrait, Night, and Wide options, as well as the ability to capture a full 64-megapixel shot. There are also video selections at 4K and 30 fps, or 1080p at 30/60 fps with 120 fps slower.
Front-facing selfie cameras show good quality intelligence, with good detail and a wide range of capabilities that can be achieved thanks to the presence of dual lens. Ultra wide angle for groupies, something that will be more difficult now.
Working with the battery
The Realme 6 Pro is a complete upgrade depending on the core specs compared to the standard Realme 6, with the 8nm Snapdragon 720G processor and 6 or 8GB of RAM, although performance between these is slightly different.
As you can see from the graphics, Realme 6 Pro combines performance with the same Honor 9X Pro, Moto G8 power, and Google's Pixel 3a, while offering unique features like a 90Hz multi-camera display.
In real-world applications, Realme 6 Pro works flawlessly. The use of the display is fluid, with the additional help of a 90 Hz screen, and despite the lack of Hard-end hardware, it can handle games like PUBG Mobile with high-quality graphics.
The Realme 6 Pro is not the most optimized smartphone on the market at 8.9mm thick, but with a 4,200mAh battery, it is a sacrifice I am willing to accept. Under normal conditions, your battery will last all day even with a screen set at 90 Hz.
The good news here is that Realme maintains its high-speed charging of 30W VOOC 4.0, even faster than the Huawei P40, which means you can reach 65% in just an hour of connection to current electricity.
In terms of connectivity, you get Wifi 802.11 ac and Bluetooth 5.1 connections, GPS and USB C. The additional highlight of its FM radio, headphone jack, and NFC technology is mobile payments, something Redmi Note 9S does not have a price list are the same.
As can be seen, 5G connectivity is not here, but it is something that by 2020 is being limited to high-end telecommunications. Apart from this, you won't miss any other Realme 6 Pro class.
Software
We have seen a great system of symbols presented by Pearl. Now, the firm is well aware that it needs to further streamline its usage and customization layer, compared to other products such as OnePlus or Xiaomi.
Yes, for Realme 6 Pro we must say that it comes with Android 10 and Realme UI, one of the cleanest customizable Android environments you can find in the market, making it easy to use and manage.
The icons and their colorful drawings are very rare, and once you have treated any of the models discussed above, you will lose some form of customized customization or excel. But for more moderate users, it will be enough.
Prices
Realme 6 Pro will be launched in Spain on May 5, 2020 and, as a result, we have no official pricing. If we use the product announcement in China, the most basic configuration price is about € 249.
It should be remembered that Realme 6 is already sold in our country, with its official price at store online from Realme It's a € 219 model with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.
If this new 6 series from Realme is shown something, thanks to the great variety in its layout, it is likely to get a (24 + 128 GB) configuration of € 249, or that (8 + 128 GB) of 279 € . We hope the Pro will also come with these various configurations.
These prices really put other types of products in line with the specs, such as the choice of the Car G8 Power, Nokia 7.2, Oppo A9, or the newly launched Redmi Note 9S on Xiaomi. Don't you think the same?
The final decision
Realme 6 Pro is a truly unbelievable company in which there is no guarantee of its price, so we will revisit the review once we know its retail price, which may allow us to award the recommended product.
The 90Hz refresh rate is the star of the show – the technology was exclusive to prominent phones in 2019, so seeing it as an affordable option is truly amazing, reinforcing the premium level entry experience.
It looks great, works seamlessly whatever you do, and the six cameras split between the front and the back are enough for the everyday consumer, despite the contrast lens effects.
Include other features like the Fingerprint fingerprint reader, the fast 30W VOOC 4.0, its good battery life and the presence of NFC mobile payment technologies and you'll forget about premium models.
Of course, this could change if Realme decides to force a price closer to € 500 when it comes to the Realme 6 Pro model, but we highly doubt that will happen. Until then, we look forward to knowing or offering you the right reward for benefits and performance.
