We already saw it while doing a Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 5600 XT analysis, because initially the graph came to us with memory running at 12 Gbps but we received a BIOS update notification to increase your VRAM speed from 1500 to 1750 MHz, increases its effective speed from 12 to 14 Gbps and thus greatly improves its performance. In the case of Sapphire this update also increases the clock speed on all three shaders, so performance was also improved.
This BIOS is not all Radeon RX 5600 XT
Unfortunately, not all models that fit this BIOS update improve the performance of these graphics cards, because AMD has published a very short list compared to the number of models available in the market. You can check out the list of compatible models on the AMD website, but we put you here too:

You can see in the Discovery column that some of these graphics cards they just came up with a new fac tory installed BIOS
Update the BIOS for the RX 5600 XT
Updating the BIOS graphics card is usually a simple process, because in most cases we can do it directly from Windows and then by restarting the PC we will have a new BIOS installed. We then leave you a link to download the BIOS for each specific model, where you will also find instructions for performing the mentioned update:
Is performance improvement noticeable with the new BIOS?
On paper, improving memory from 1500 to 1750 MHz from 12 Gbps to 14 Gbps is a direct impact on graphics performance, as bandwidth increases from 288 GB / s to 336 GB / s, showing an increase of 16.6% and only this time. But something does not stop there because in many cases this update also brings with it an increase in GPU performance, and that has a huge impact on the final performance.
Here you have an example of the performance of the Sapphire Pulse Radeno RX 5600 XT with the new BIOS in Battlefield V with 1080p resolution and high-resolution graphics, which is the purpose of this graphics card.
The performance is pretty much out of place, and as we always say, performance improvements with a simple BIOS or driver update are always beneficial.
