Use a $100 projector as a 300-inch TV

300inch, Projector

The spotlights were very noisy and their light level was so low that you had to be completely in the dark to see anything clearly. Now that has changed a lot. You don’t need something at $1,500 for its quality to be acceptable. In addition to the fact that its distance necessary to make a large screen has also been reduced, it is enough to have 2 meters between the place where you place it and the place where you want it to be seen. .

Advantages and disadvantages

First of all, its main advantage, we already know, transforming a small space into a cinema due to the potential it has in terms of creating giant screens. In addition to having a Smart TV directly by pairing a Fire TV or other device. You don’t need to switch TVs if we want to see Netflix big. Just like being able to watch current TV channels with any TNT application.

We will also have the possibility of directly connecting a computer or a mobile via Bluetooth or WiFi and transmitting what we want without cables.

It depends on your budget, you can buy one projector or another. From $100 you have options as is, very acceptable in terms of noise levels and quality, although if your savings allow it (since you will save a lot compared to buying a TV), I would go for something between $200 and $300. Not at all a professional projector at +500$, it is useless if what you want is to put it in your home. Unless you need to set up an impressive movie theater, that wouldn’t be the case.

A projector like the first one I mentioned (this one) would have great benefits for under $100. Its brightness level would be 9,000 lumens, with FullHD quality and a screen of up to 300 inches. Besides that, you can hang it from the ceiling or just prop it up on a cupboard or shelf. It weighs next to nothing and you wouldn’t need a screen either, you could project directly onto a uniform, light-colored wall.

So far, those are all advantages, right? Cheaper, good thumbs, wireless connection, easy to store and space-saving, no antenna cables or holes in the wall… However, it also has its drawbacks.

On the one hand, the best way to see a light-emitted screen is precisely when there is little light in the room. It is true that we can enjoy our projector even during the day, but if you plan to put it in a very sunny room and watch it as if it were a 4k television, forget it, think about this and where you will put it look if you are interested.

In terms of noise they are much quieter than before, but that does not mean that they do not emit noise when operating, although with the necessary playback volume this should not be noticed, aside from the fact that you can connect your headphones to hear what’s being played.

And in terms of connection, they are very good, but at the same time, you still depend on them. If you don’t have Wi-Fi at that time or anything downloaded, you won’t be able to access anything, watch online TV, or watch Netflix or anything. Although this is easily solvable if you think about it in advance. You can even take movies on a flash drive and connect it from anywhere.

If these negative points do not affect you, you already know that your next purchase should be a projector. At least I don’t regret doing it.
