Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has been a much-anticipated topic for fans of the saga, where its previous titles have made it appear that we're dealing with a game of great potential. And it did not disappoint, collecting, criticizing, game modes, graphics and optimization took millions of users to the pocket, leading to collecting revenue for activation.
But there was an occasional embarrassment of such a great game, the full size it takes. And that at its beginning was already a problem for many users, where now with Warzone on its list, history repeats itself.
Call of Duty: Warzone, minimum and recommended PC requirements
Warzone is currently available worldwide from yesterday, where depending on our time we have been able to play it at different times. It's a free game that requires the installation of Modern Warfare through the Blizzard Battle.net store.
The controversy comes with the space needed for its installation. If we don't have MW already on our PC installed, we'll have to download 184 GB in total to hold it. However, once we only have MW, only 22 GB will be downloaded in total and will be added to over 160 downloads per game.
Fewer PC requirements
As with any good game, the developer offers two PC compiler configurations, where it is explained that it can be played with at least 1080P resolution and at least 60 FPS.
For its small configuration we will need these components:
- CPU -> Intel Core i3 4340 or AMD FX-6300.
- GPU -> NVIDIA GTX 1650 or AMD Radeon HD 7950.
- Memory -> 8 GB of RAM
- Storage -> Warzone only between 83 and 101 GB, total MW 184 GB.
As we can see, the requirements are quite measurable considering the image quality with this title, where we have both a backbone and a low HT and GPU where we can deal with low quality.
Recommended PC Requirements
- CPU -> Intel Core i5 2500K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X.
- GPU -> NVIDIA GTX 1660 or AMD Radeon RX 580
- Memory -> 12 GB of RAM
- Storage -> 197 GB
Here the needs rise somewhat, but they are not that far off. The second-generation quad-core or Ryzen 6-core first won't be too much trouble for the average player.
Graphics cards can be extremely challenging, as the price of the GTX 1660 is somehow higher than the RX 580 that has been in EOL for months and has been replaced by the new RX 5500 XT.
As for RAM, it's a game that uses what's called RAMCaché a lot and will be continuously importing and exporting things from that part, the less VRAM available, the bigger the RAM system we will need.
