The Six Nations rugby tournament returns for another year and ends on February 4. With plenty of games available to watch live on a range of platforms, here’s where and when to watch all the games on TV or streaming online.
Last year, France won the championship with a Grand Slam for the first time since 2010, while previous winners Wales could only claim one victory. Nothing is certain in this tournament – except perhaps who will come last – which makes it one of the most exciting rugby events on the calendar.

To watch live online via a PC or laptop, you can use the BBC or ITV’s own streaming services, iPlayer and ITVX.
You can choose to pay for ITV X Premium if you want to watch ad-free, but not for live streams and concurrent streams and downloads. There’s a 7-day free trial, then it’s £5.99 or £59.99 per year.
There will also be a flagship show on BBC One called Six Nations Rugby Special, hosted by Ugo Monye. It will be available on BBC Two and iPlayer from 6.15pm on Sunday.
If you’re not watching through a web browser, apps can be downloaded for free to a phone or tablet from the App Store or Google Play.
If you’re not on an unlimited mobile data contract on your phone or tablet, you need to make sure you’re connected to Wi-Fi to avoid high data charges.
To stream live rugby matches on a PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone, you must also have a valid TV license. Check the rules: Do I need a TV license?
