Being overly cautious can cause us to flex our neck to see the ends of the screen, and in the long run it will produce cervical pains, so it can be dangerous. On the other hand, having too small a mirror can force us to force our eyes to see the screen properly, which can be dangerous because it would fatigue our eyes and produce asthenopia.
Therefore, we should try to find the balance and choose the right size for us according to our circumstances, in this case, depending on the length at which we will be placed on guard that, fortunately or unfortunately, will depend on the size of the bag on our desk
The right size fits the range
It seems obvious, but if on your PC you are staying at 50 centimeters from the monitor, you shouldn't have a 40-inch screen because you have to turn your neck constantly. Similarly, if the screen is one meter away from you and you have a 21-inch screen, you will need to force the view to view the content properly.
The proper size of a PC monitor depends on how far away your eyes are on the screen, and although we will give you guidelines, it will depend on the individual user and his or her preferences. In any case, on PC monitors this rule affects the TV screens in a different way in the living room, where there are older archetypes but on TV we generally do not read the texts (which is why most people get dizzy playing the console in the living room with a big TV when they have to read subtitles).
Now what size monitor should you have?
Depending on the size of the view and the distance between the screen and straight eyes, here are some guidelines to take:
- Minimum distance 30 cm: depth 17 inches.
- Distance between 40 and 50 cm: between 19 and 21 inches.
- Distance between 50 and 60 cm: between 21 and 24 inches.
- Distance between 60 and 70 cm: between 22 and 27 inches, 29 inches UltraWide.
- Distance between 70 and 80 cm: between 24 and 32 inches, 34 inches UltraWide.
- Distance between 90 and 100 cm: between 27 and 35 inches.
- Over 1 meter: from 32 inches onwards.
We reiterate that this is the correct size for a PC monitor depending on the distance the screen is mounted, but it is not biblical too to each user type
For example, my average guard 34 inch UltraWide and I'm between 80 and 85 cm away, but even a meter and a half away it can still be used completely even over the Internet because the letters are still visible. However, when I get close to my face and get to 70 inches, I'm either forced to turn my head to be able to see all parts of the screen, or to push my eye too much by moving them around.
So, we advise you to think about it long before you buy a great new gardener, too that you look at the distance which will be your screen before choosing a size, so that you have the proper monitor you can enjoy instead of having to suffer.
