The first two Sonic films have already made a splash in the world of video game adaptations, and there are high hopes that the third installment will not only continue that trend, but surpass it.
Indeed, the main enemy of this film is Shadow the Hedgehog, one of the most popular characters in the franchise thanks to his powerful skills, his tragic backstory and, of course, his legendary edgelord attitude – don’t forget never the quote from his game about the “DAMN fourth chaos emerald”.
Add in the fact that action superstar (and nicest guy in Hollywood) Keanu Reeves voices him and Jim Carrey will return to play not one, but two Robotniks, and you have the recipe for a killer geek movie.

When will Sonic the Hedgehog 3 tickets go on sale?
Mark your calendars and celebrate with a piping hot chili dog, because Sonic the Hedgehog 3 tickets are hitting the shelves Friday November 29, 2024.
We believe this is the same date for both the UK and US cinema chains. However, we don’t yet know what time they will hit shelves – we will update this article when we know more.
The film will officially be released on December 21, 2024, just in time for the holiday season.
