Where to buy Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Nintendo Switch OLED

We’re counting down the days until the next game in The Legend of Zelda series, Tears of the Kingdom. It’s the highly anticipated sequel to Breath of the Wild – which is widely regarded as one of the best Nintendo Switch games of all time.

If you can’t get enough of Zelda or are in the market for a new console, then you’re in luck. Nintendo is releasing a special edition of the Switch OLED, themed around Tears of the Kingdom.

This console comes with a stunning gold, white and green finish, suitable for any adventurer. The dock features the iconic Tri-Force logo, while the joy-cons are covered in Zonai designs, as well as the game’s Collector’s Edition symbol.

But that’s not all – Nintendo is also releasing a brand new Zelda Pro controller, as well as a carrying case.

When will the Nintendo Switch OLED Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Edition be released?

If you’re looking for the Pro Controller and Carrying Case, you’ll have to wait for the game to release, as those accessories will coincide with the May 12, 2023 release.

How much does the Nintendo Switch OLED Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Edition cost?

The Nintendo Switch OLED Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Edition will retail for $359.99 in the US, which is $10 more than the standard OLED model. We can’t find UK prices at the time of writing, but previous special edition consoles that are priced at this price in America translate to £319.99 in the UK.

Meanwhile, the new Zelda Pro Controller will cost $74.99 and the Carrying Case will be priced at $24.99. Exact UK prices are to be revealed.

Where to pre-order the Nintendo Switch OLED Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Edition

Nintendo said in its press release that the new console and accessories are “all now available for pre-order.” However, the purchase links don’t seem to be live for the new Zelda-themed Switch just yet.

Nintendo US has a listing page for the console available on its website, as well as pages for the controller and case, but no pre-order options. UK readers can register their interest on the Nintendo UK website to be notified when pre-orders go live.

No other third-party retailers currently have the console available for pre-order, but we’ll be checking the sites regularly to see if that changes.
