The long wait for the Pixel 8a launch has just ended.
Google surprised everyone by revealing the next A-series model a week before the Google I/O conference, rather than at the event – as was the case for the Pixel 7a in 2023.
With pre-orders live now, here’s everything you need to know about buying the Pixel 8a in the UK and US.
When will the Google Pixel 8a be released?
The Pixel 8a was officially announced on May 7, 2024.
Pre-orders are underway now, ahead of the phone’s release on May 14, 2024 at the Google I/O conference.
How much does the Google Pixel 8a cost?
The Pixel 8a starts at £499/$499 for 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Unlike its predecessor, it’s also available in a 256GB version, which will set you back £559/$559.
As a reminder, the Pixel 7a is only available in 8GB/128GB version and costs £50 less in the UK. The price in the United States remains the same.
