RPM changes per minute when the inner plates of the hard disk rotate. Therefore hard drive at 7200 RPM will be faster and will have better theoretical performance than one that hits at 5400 RPM, because the head will be able to read a large amount of data every second since the data arrives much faster.
Does hard driving always flow at the same speed?
The answer is no. The details the manufacturer gives us the maximum turn speed, but even though the hard disk is 7200 RPM doesn't mean it's fast at all times; the details are physically found on one of the parts of the disc plates, and the high spinning speed just means that. the details will come before the head, but because of this it may not have been necessary for the plate to rotate at full speed (here it is, so to hurry, although this is a fact that no builder gives or takes).
One of the disadvantages of hard drives, and especially those of 7200 RPM compared to 5400 RPM, is that their use is high. On average and continuous performance, the R200M 7200 disk uses 10 watts compared to the 6 watts consumed by 5400 RPM. Of course, in this case, this maximum utility is represented by a high hard drive performance.
Hard drive performance based on its RPM
First of all it is rare to see the Drives 3.5 ”hard drive at 5400 RPM (except for some low power), because this speed is usually reserved for 2.5” drivers operating laptops, where the most important use is, but More and more laptops feature 700 RPM hard drives (of course these are less for small SSDs, but that's another issue).

Apparently a disk with more RPM works better, though mentioned earlier its use is very high, it is almost double, and it also has other opposites, such as its normal ambient temperature is 6ºC, and when we swiftly turn the bells too suffer its average lifespan is sometimes low rather than a 5400 RPM hard drive.
