Microsoft’s launch of the Windows 11 operating system was not without controversy, not least because of its requirements. Since its launch, this operating system has encountered countless problems. But, it looks like Microsoft is already working on Windows 12 and this one would integrate a version of ChatGPTArtificial Intelligence developed by OpenAI.
Microsoft in 2021 decided to launch Windows 11, an operating system that no one expected. Everything indicated that Windows 10 would be the company’s last operating system, only making updates. But the launch of Intel’s new architecture was the perfect excuse to launch a new oper ating system.
Rumors of a Windows 12 with integrated ChatGPT
Currently, Microsoft invests several million dollars in OpenAI, developers of ChatGPT. We even know that work is underway to integrate this artificial intelligence tool into the Bing search engine, owned by Microsoft. The idea is to create a very powerful search engine capable of competing with Google, the biggest search engine in the world.
Speculation began that Microsoft might be developing a new operating system or moving forward with its development. Apparently they are working on Windows 12 What would integrate artificial intelligence functions. Additionally, I would add optimization for photos, calendar, clock, email, and other tools.
It should be emphasized that the rumors are not about Windows 12 itself, but about a new version of the Windows 11 operating system. What does this mean? Well, something similar can happen with Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. Really, Windows 8.1 was going to be Windows 9, but it stuck to some kind of big update to that operating system.
It’s possible that Windows 12 won’t actually be released for another three years, but it’s kind of a gigantic update. What seems quite likely is that integrate ChatGPT or something similar in the operating system Microsoft.
But, AI would come to Windows 11 first, integrating into Teams and Skype. Microsoft is working on adding advanced features to these video calling apps and does not rely on third-party tools. Microphone noise filtering, voice clarity enhancement, dynamic lighting adjustment, and custom background features, among other features, will be implemented.
An AI would be interesting, if it is applied where it is needed
The reality is that Windows 11 is nowhere near as good an operating system as Windows 10. The problem with this new operating system is that it was developed specifically for newer Intel processors. Many AMD users have reported performance issues due to the design of Windows 11.
On top of these issues, updates break more than they fix. Windows 11 22H2 rollout had to be paused for a while as it contained major issues affecting proper operation. Even Microsoft released an update to improve game performance which, oddly enough, did the exact opposite.
It would be nice if Microsoft added ChatGPT or a similar AI tool so that it checks for updates thoroughly. This would avoid any glitches or flaws in the updates, or at the very least they wouldn’t be such a big deal. In the end, before adding a new feature, what exists should work fine.
